@@doctordolldesigns4009 Marisol. I ended up finally getting the eyes in but I messed one up when trying to move them so they were straight so I’ll have to get a new pair of eyes but at least I got them in 😅
My Pleasant Company Addy has a bubble in her right eye and a weird ring around her left eye. I have chose to leave them for now. Have you seen that before? I have never seen eyes with these defects before.. I have seen silver eye....my PC Kirsten has very slight silver eye in one eye...luckily none of my other PC dolls have any issues yet. I am watching this video to refresh myself on the process before I eyeswap a Kaya doll I want to customize. I have never done this to an AG doll.. I've reborned and customized fashion dolls,, Monster high, Barbie,etc. I have a Samantha that I added a new wig and freckles to make her Laura Ingalls....but no eye swaps yet 😳😓 I have heard she is the easiest mold to swap....do you agree? I am putting Nanea eyes in.
Hi Jill! I think I know what you are describing with your PC Addy's eyes. It is very common in PC dolls from the early to mid 90s. You can do an eye swap or hire an eye painting artist. The ring around the eye is not usually considered a defect and actually some pc collectors really desire eyes with them. The classic mold is probably the easiest to eye swap for beginners
