I live in Charlotte, ninety miles southwest of Winston-Salem, where Dash and his human partner live and work. I am so glad to see that our North Carolina canine officers are wearing protective vests. This should be required uniform for all canine officers, everywhere. Protective liners for the canine compartments in the police vehicles in which they ride, should also be required. These canine officers risk their lives for us. We should provide to them every protection possible, for their lives and health.
I agree whole heartedly. I just don’t understand it when I see our brave canine officers with no protection, running into danger . Hearing them cry in pain is so heartbreaking. Their loyalty is unmatched. It breaks my heart.
ABSOLUTELY AGREE!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 And, it really breaks me, when a dedicated Canine Officer runs boldly into ANY situation it is trained for, and ends up shot or stabbed. Some survive, to work another day. Some survive, but have to retire. Some dont make it at all. They SHOULD be protected with the same levels as all HOOMAN officers are.

LOVE LOVE LOVE DASH-EROO BOY!!!! 🥰🥰🥰 What a lethal little cuddle bug he can be!!! 😁🙃😉😊 Thankful that the 'powers that be' are recognizing that our Canine Officers also need the same level of protection that human Officers receive. As this Officer stated, the canine nose is so much more sensitive than that of humans, so the Canine Officer may just be MORE valuable on the job. PROTECT them as such!! Stay safe Dash, and watch your handler's six!!! Extra steak treats and new toys for the 'sweet' little puppy you are!!M LOL Now, GO GET THOSE BAD GUYS!!!
To have a great bond with your K9 partner like this is so rewarding, and you'll both always look out for each other. I know one person who has a Dutch shepherd named had a good talk with that person and just thankful I was being smart with no fast movements because that dog would be like snap crackle break lol😅😂 very nice talk about dogs n respected that person and dog

He needs a placard, "Will work for toys." I know you think we're soft, and stupid, and live in a "My Little Pony" universe; but I think there is loneliness in that kennel. You say he!s your best friend, but you put him away like a tool at the end of the day. He should get to go home with you and sleep with you (not on your bed). A dog is a social animal. When he's gone, you will think differently.
