You didn't play the 5 straight over the 4 at all though. This is certainly very difficult, and you're getting closer! You played 1* and a 2* and a 3* and a 4 and* a 5 E* and a
Not exactly... It was closer to the straight 5... just wasn't perfect. The 5s definiely had a little grease or swing on em for that take.lol Listen to it again... If you play the rhythm you are suggesting, it's quite different.
@@Thedrummersalmanac I dunno, when you solo'd the 5 count, it was pin straight. I kept tapping my finger, and then it went to a swung 5 beat rhythm that was how I wrote it out. Hey, I'm not judging, I just sat down and ran through a track my buddy sent me.. 8 times.. And I'm like, yeah I sound sick in my head, but in reality I'm trayyysh 😂

To quote one of my mutuals... it's like a rhythmic spelling mistake. You can still understand the word that was intended but it's not spelled right, if that makes sense.

@@non_reai What do you mean? did you listen to it properly? the 5 beat is not equally divided in one beat, while the four is. its not polyrhythm, its syncopation. this guy explains it perfectly in his comment, if you bothered to actually use your eyes: @sonofnothing 1 year ago You didn't play the 5 straight over the 4 at all though. Sounds like some beat I'd have to attack to in rhythm on Earthbound.
Pass the mother funding butter
thats the easiest way to explain
this sounds like something an alien would make trying to be human
Looks simple but not that easy to do well
Wow, the skill it takes to do that with both hands simultaneously 🔥🔥
You muet check to Jeep the Pause between th the 3d and 4d in the the 5 circle shorter, so it iw not becoming a 6/4 with a break
Does it bother anyone else that the down beat is on 2?
Very cool concept!
Does it have anything like "pass the god damn butter"?
Try… “I’m looking for a house to buy”
