Great detailed video! I think you could really stress to people though that using 12 hour Overseer quests will get you 5% per, 10% per day if you stay on top of things. Add that to your recommend path in the video and you will more or less cut down your leveling time by half. I am certain I gained at least 1.5 to 2.0 levels of XP from Overseer alone.
It's crazy to see how much people are asking for BS gear. It's nice, it's BIS yes, but it's not going to change your game from ToL TS with the exception of the EM earring. But considering it's the same as CoV Raid gear it's not worth the insane inflated prices going around right now. If it had been EM30 I might understand 5 to 10 krono but it's 29 so I don't get the insanity around it.
At least from my point of view, if you really want to spend krono get a deal on an IE summoner's earring and swap it in to summon Jober, then put your TS earring back in place when fighting. Obviously this is just from a necromancer, maybe a SK 1H BS weapon really is that much better than the expansion gear.
I pinned your comment, yeah I didn't mention overseer. My questing group just blew past the levels faster than overseer refreshed, the grinding group benefited from it thought. I just take it for granted since I have used overseer since I got access to it.
Yeah it sucks the EM earring is so much, 1KR on my server is 3.4mil. I am hoping to try and join a guild on my server once I get my AA maxed out to try and do some raids if that fails I am working on a 3rd group to try and 18 man COV raids =P Not sure if its possible.
@@hammackj There is a difference in the IE and BS pet for sure - and maybe I downplayed that some - but I don't know if it's worth the millions platinum / dozen of krono more.
I found ToL to be easy with the IE Jober (EM27), with the BS Jober (EM29) it's laughable. On my old live server, Luclin, I saw a decent amount of IE gear up in the baz with the 2 million max price. I don't know how that compares to your server but for that price you could stomp through most things on Nomeregard while getting TS gear and AAs.
Also remember the BS gear will be for not only ToL part 1 but whatever part 2 is as well. On test there are quite a few people going nuts (IMO) looking for BS gear. Patience is a virtue, we just got ToL this month. I think they were so used to IE gear being traded around like candy they forgot how great Tradeskill and Raid gear really is!
At the moment I have the t3TOL EM24, and it gets stomped by the TOV t2 nameds in kael but it was pretty funny to me.
Ill probably pick up a IE earring if I see one for sale for a decent price. ALl the blood-soaked stuff is insane atm on my server 3-10KR each with the pet earring being out of this world.

You can sum it up with. Have insane gear. Spend money. If you're power-leveling. FM sarnak camps are by far better exp than anything in zones above.
You don't need insane gear to get from 116 to 120. FM sucks for exp past 110 if you can kill in TOL/NOS.
My method is painfully easy, and slow, but again (as I've mentioned this in videos/comments) I take the stance that I have a full year to get in T3 gear-max aa solo. If I do it too fast what's the point?
I have been sitting in WW grinding mobs for aa-xp (using lesson of the day), and doing overseer for level xp 1 or twice a day. I'm on pace to hit max level at about 50 days from when I started, and be max-aa also at the same time. It's pretty easy to get the max aa's for each level doing it like this.
This leaves me 10 months to work on getting my T3 gear, and a mix of chase gear, here and there, as a solo Necro main toon.
It's not "rocket science" to peeps that have been playing consistently, but some people getting back into the game while they wait for Pantheon or just digging some nostalgia may not be aware of it. I made this comment in order for peeps to have a good idea how long this method would take.

Nice man. I really thought about doing it that way, I decided to not mostly because of the channel. Since my goal is to do every quest/achievement I wanted to speed up the process. Also my live streams of my doing exp feel boring to me to due the kill times, grinding for 4 hours for 5% exp was killing me. The real exp is in the quests / missions, I plan on videos for each quest once I finish up AA so the kill times are slightly faster. I would consider throwing in the merc/quests into your grind, the mercs are all pretty easy, not sure what server you are on but the mission exp is no joke either if you can snag a group.
Do you have playlists for your 6 box teams on live? Would be awesome to see how u set things up cause that sounds super challenging.

Personally I think the newer one is better, I explain a lot more and go over more things. I was more noob back then.
Thanks for the guide. A question, why do you specifically suggest hunting in either of those 2 missions, the trash mobs there? Do you believe its better experience or is it more easily controlled or what? Thanks.
Yes the trash mobs, the major reason is uncontested guaranteed access to mobs. If you are geared on the higher end of the spectrum TOL at 115 should be easier. I like to just kill as many mobs as I can as fast as I can, TOL/COV just take longer to kill. I also just noticed I titled this video wrong too =\
Sorry to post in random spot, but was hoping to get your attention. When multiboxing, I am using ISBOXER and have the auto follow and auto assist working great.
The thing I was wondering, is in your multibox private server videos, you have your melee actually run TO the target. In one video you are like, ok lets send in the tank, and you push a button and she RUNS to the raid mob. HOW?! lol..... Is this a function of ISBOX I am missing or something else doing this? I cant get my box to go to the target at all and i have to drag target to them. Thanks!
In the private emulated server stuff I use macroquest to control all 54 characters.
Well I feel good about my 4box being Bard, SK, BL and the Dru is good utility and travel. So hoping I can start the leveling today, stinks I need to pay $120 to get the expansions but I suppose waiting for 3 exp to go by I get all 3 for the $30 each, but then I realized you dont get a month of game play with an expansion purchase, boo. at least that was I was told in game the other day. Ill find out soon, but yea w/o the prestiege on the free accounts it really hinders me. But w/ 4box I use 2 heal mercs and keeps me having to spam heal w the dru, also getting rid of those long useless spells the mercs use helps.
One thing to consider is test server gives gold for free and you and copy your chars to test. Just have to buy expansions tho.

When you say .5 do you mean .500% per kill or .05% xp for Grind kills in restless?
Exp 115+ is like 0.05 give or take .01
Crazy to spend 80 Krono on a current chase gear earring for a mage when you can get almost the same earring with the same EM focus ( I think EM 29 ) from purchasing a CoV raid ore drop for 7 to 10 Krono and making it your self.
Yeah, the guy selling it seemed to imply he sold it too. Pretty insane.

Which spell/class can cure the Shei DT?
Cleric/Paladin/Shaman. Maybe druid but never ran it with my druid. Paladin has a splash heal that cures it. really OP if you have one of those. Cleric makes it easy also.
I find questing to be the absolute worst as a solo player. Most of the quests are not meant to be done solo, hence the multiple adds, root immune and summoning mobs. It's also odd that you get so much experience for the wurms. I get 0.014% with lesson going on the wurms and I am not even 115 yet. But I always argue that the game isn't even meant to be played unless you are raiding everything feels off-limits.
I made this on FV, that server has a exp bonus. Also this video is two years old so the exp prob got lowered/nerfed. What do you try to solo as?

With NOS out, the grind method doesn't really work anymore, the xp is awful. Probably only reasonable way is to quest.
