your video helped me out more than i can say. one of my co-workers who is going to school to do hair, told me that i would need to use bleach in order to achieve the red that i am looking for. there are ways around to get the red that you want :) my hair is more of a light brown sugar blonde (but my roots are more like a brownish black) i tried the whole "weave" thing- and i got tired of it. and then going in every 2 months for the foils. i am extremely simple and want a very drastic change to myself. and besides, i like red and red hair to begin with. but I will try the combo that you have suggested and see if that works for my hair :)

by far the best one on you tube. Well I recently died my hair with ion red permanent hair color and i liked it. Now I want to have brighter hair. Would you recommend me to color my whole head with loreal highlift red first and then after that maintain it with ion brights red?

WOW I am amazed!! U DIDNT use bleaaach ! I always use bleach... and my hair is as dark as ur roots!!! I am SOOO gonna try this method... RIGHT now I am a light burgundy blonde in Ion color... I seen the Red tube though everytime i go into sallys... I DEF wanna try this now... DO they also sell the Loreal hi def color there also ?

I recently used the Loreal color on all my hair but it's not as bright as yours. How many times did it take to get that red??
I've got to say Thank you finally my hair is the color I've been trying to get . Back in the day I used manic panic and my hair was a beautiful bright in your face red but I swear over the yrs manic panic has changed there colors because I bought over $120 in manic panic trying to get my color red and well ended up not happy n your video was a life saver so thank you .

question: the 1st time you did your entire hair red... did you use these exact same products and steps? when applying the 2nd mixture with 10 developer for 1st time did u do it in entire colored hair or only below roots and down?

My hair is currently a burgundy color that is a little washed out ( I have been washing it 3x a week) if I use this method will it still work?

OK I have a question, I use to have red hair like yours and I dyed it back to my natural color which is dark brown but I've been using a medium brown dye because when I would use a dark brown it would turn almost black. My question is since my hair has been dark for a while should I use the hi color hilights on all of my hair the first time around and then up keep it with the ion brights from then on?

did you just use the high color highlights on all of your hair at one point because I noticed it looked much lighter and brighter of a red

I used the hicolor hilights in Red with 40 developer and it's still not that vivid😅 :( Does the ion brilliance come out a brighter red? Or do i just need to take my time and keep dyeing it with the same color til it reaches that vividness?
I have a question. Obviously no bleach is always better but, isn't developer what actually damages your hair instead if bleach? If so, wouldn't this method damage it as much as bleach does?

LoLo Love since I had to bleach my hair first, what would be your recommendation for a permanent red? I want to apply a permanent red all over because the semi permanent manic panic keeps running off. Do you think it would work if I used the Loreal Hi Color?

+Christina L Wash your hair with as cold water as possible and try not to use shampoo for dandruff or greasy hair

Hello I loved your hair Red
Just ausom ..I used the first 1 you put on my hole head and it worked realy good but now the color faded alot so after seeing your video..I used the same product on my roots again and the other on the rest of my hair and let me tell you if it wasent for you I wouldn't of known what to do to get this color it looks great

excellent results allbleach does is fly my hair and frequently fastly ruin it darker red is better the faster is fades the sonner it has to be touched up and re-dyed not cool, 40 volume is ok fo rvirgin hair but harsh for over-processed hair that's the wiord im looking for over processed

what color was your hair previously before dying your hair RED w/ION , in this video it's very vibrant than your roots, so I'm guessing you dyed your hair RED w/lorel 's before maintaining it with ION RED, but what color hair did you have previously? or is my guess right? thanks :)
