    Dear redheads everywhere take some of the direct red pigment(ones that you do not add developer to) like pravana, manic panic, Ion...and mix it with some conditioner and apply on your ends in the shower as needed to refresh ends vibrancy ... maintenence for reds doesn't have to be hard if you get in a routine!!!! Also they are coming out with some awesome depositing shampoos and conditioners too so you don't even have to mix!!! Going 3 years strong with red I do myself it's worth it!!!!

      I do this with hair mask and semi color (crazy colors)..and hair conditioner in red, Osmo Radiant red is good...or red pigments mix with hair mask. I do not use color depositing shampoos, this works great...I have been red for 2 years. I have been growing my hair now it is mid back, goal is up to my butt. or at least over my waist.

    this used to be me when I had to bleach my roots. also I know its just your mum but try and tell her to literally just put the dye on your dark roots because your over lapping bleach basically. also look up sectioning the hair into 4 quadrants its makes getting to your roots so much easier and quicker and it will be even (look up guy tang!!) I have bright red hair too and I don't know if you do this but everytime I wash my hair I mix the dye(the manic panic type) with conditioner and my hair never looks faded! lots of love! looks amazing xxx

But then idid some more research and finally qot it to my likeinq☺ and idye my roots with a 20 developer and mix it with L'oreal Hicolor in Red and it does qrab the color👍 and then iwould put manic panic in pillarred on the rest of my hair. But istopped because it would stain my clothes and mostly white clothinq. So now ijust use the L'oreal hicolor in red on my entire head. But it fades really quick in two weeks and iwash my hair 1 day each week. What do u recommend me doinq? 😣 and ive never seen that hair dye at sallys thats where iqet my hair dyes.

      Also a tip bleach does not remove direct dyes( like manic panic ) it actually drives them in further so don't over lap the bleach on to the previously dyed red if you ever want to be able to get it out of your hair when you don't want red !!! Color remover is the only thing that will actually remove these direct dyes 😍

    • @msevfreak23
      @msevfreak23 Před 3 lety

      @@morelemonpledge469 I thought a color remover actually does that by shrinking the dye molecules in the hair shaft? The bleach actually removes the dye pigments right? Cuz if you bleach hair that you previously used a color remover on, most times the previous color comes back because the molecules are expanded when they had been shrunk by the color remover.

    • @morelemonpledge469
      @morelemonpledge469 Před 3 lety

    Wait the description says vampire red but you don't use it in the video. All you retouch your faded hair with is infra red? Your result is so beautiful and the exact rich shade I always go for but when i use vampire red it's a tad too dark and cool for me. (I also lift mine with a permanent red and developer so I have a similar fade out to yours.) I've been considering mixing a brighter red with vampire but I'm not sure which one. If I can just use infra that'd be so much easier, I was always just afraid it was too dark.
