This is an example of an anime that actually has a pretty good dub. Very few anime are actually able to do this. I prefer this anime as dub over the sub.
Death Note's dub was even better that it's sub

The dub is good enough i'd say as it isn't shit and that it sounds more genuine for the expectations of what people see of a dubbed anime
@@JoshuaCodes 12s dub was pretty good, "skittish" outgoing hyper and hyper. 9s dub is vague, like the character. So i find it decent. The detectives voice seemed too have little personality on him. The girls voice acting was pretty good, but I feel like the voice direction was the problem, not necessarily the voice acting.

this anime literally gave me back my emotions. i thought i couldn't feel anymore, then i watched this: i cried, laughed, smiled, yelled, etc. it was so refreshing to FEEL again. and, not to mention this anime was so freaking good. it's like... a perfect anime. everything about it was so well thought out and if you're thinking about watching this, do it: you will never regret it.

Considering how many people cried over this anime, I never did. All it did was give me this sensation and emotions that hit me hard in the heart, but it still makes me feel uneasy. Either way, this anime was a masterpiece. Every part, every detail was so heart taking.

I don't really remember why exactly Lisa didn't want to see her mother again, I understood that she was always screaming at her; Five kill herself because she knew she wasn't gonna live long, just like Nine, the children in those experiments had a short term life, and Five didn't want to die "naturally".

An incredible anime. I can't express my love for it. So much depth, so many emotions, such an interesting and unique story with such an important message. Breathtaking soundtrack. Amazing characters. Even a great dub. All that in only 11 episodes. I am so glad i've found this gem. I still think about this anime almost every day.
To everyone who will go ahead and watch this masterpiece, pay attention to episodes 5, 9 and 11. They have a significant meaning other than just being numbers!

I did, And it was amazing after watching Stein's gate & 0 I never thought I'd find an anime with such real world feel and emotion to it but God...Terror in Resonance "blow away" my mind go ahead recommended me more animes similar to both.

This anime hit me in such a way I can´t explain, its hyponitc with its music and I can express what it makes me feel in words. I guess its the closet I can get to feel what art is.
there was a weird feeling that came over me after watching this anime, I googled the Characters "names" or numbers into google: 5, 9, 12. In Numerical order, the Children who were a part of the Athena Plan, I´m not sure if its a huge coincidence, but after googled ´5912´ the first hit is a page from the National Center for Biotechnology Information
Search database, that tells about some sort of human Gene ( it all looks very confusing and don´t understand much of it) But.. There is a sub article close by that speaks of a location in the "Genomic Context" named: 3q25.2, And I don´t know much about it but it has something to do with Autism, and realizing that. My mind raced back to the part in the show where they spoke of Savant Syndrome, as a form of autism or so, as they were trying to make super humans of the kids (9 and 12 Escaped).
Are the authors trying to tell us a message that there could be something like the Athena plan going on in the real world? or is it just a crazy coincidence

Wow! What ahidden gem of an anime and an absolute work of art. Just finished watching for the first time and am completely blown away. For an 11 episode miniseries, it's one of the best I have ever seen. Dark and depressing, but incredibly well written and paced. Amazing how attached you can get to characters and a world in such a short period of time. Shame this series isn't as widely recognized as it should be. Must watch!!
It's been quite some time since I finished this anime. I checked this trailer out for the hell of it to reminisce. The chills I got once the song "Von" started playing overwhelmed me. I absolutely love this anime, I can't even express my gratitude to the author.
This trailer does so much shit right
- Establishes scene (Tokyo)
- MCs introduced (9 & 12)
- Timeframe established (70 years post WWII: 2015)
- Overarching plot established, MCs are terrorists who stole nuclear material and blow up buildings
- Introduces questions: why do they do this? What is different about them vs other terrorists [police asks this]? What is the truth they want to know [teased by background voice]?
- Genre established, thriller/suspense with psychological elements ("ready or not, here I come" implying police chasing the two, scenes of police storming buildings)
- Larger narrative 9 & 12 are trying to expose or learn about: "so you want to know the truth, but are you ready to hear it?"
- Incredible use of music and perfect scene selection to match, hits the nail on the head
I've seen a lot of trailers from movies, games, TV shows, etc. I can say with confidence that this trailer is the best one I've ever seen, I could write an essay about all the things it does right and how other trailers should take notes.

I think this anime speaks to a lot of teenagers because the plot revolved around teenagers who were condemned by adults. All our lives we've been cursed and underestimated for our age, and the system has broken us over and over again. This anime perfectly reflects that.

Terror in Resonance really captures the moment in history it depicts. Violent energy, revolutionary spirit, hopeless odds. A blip in time that felt like an era. My favorite anime by far.
