Had her as a grown women playing and singing as a teenager, which is why she grew hatred towards her own voice, she said on the real day time that she felt as if "they praised the fact she sounded so young, and said she enjoyed it more when she was in the girl group 3LW because the songs were more mature. She actually cried about her own voice sounding so young, and she's beautiful

A, before I watch this, I just want to say a few words about you being on the masked singer. When I was watching your last performance where they unmasked you and then you sang a little bit it actually brought me to tears! I remember being a little kid and watching you on the Cheetah Girls and wanting to be you because you were so pretty and cool but especially because of your AMAZING voice. No shade to the other girls but your voice was just always my favorite lol then when I saw you say on The Real that you hated the sound of your own voice I was completely baffled. I could not understand how you could not see or hear how beautiful it was!
It’s a horrible tendency we have as human beings to be hard on ourselves and not see the beauty in what we have to offer. As someone who has struggled with low self esteem since I was like 12 and can’t seem to see my own beauty no matter how much my loved ones tell me, your journey on The Masked Singer spoke to me.
