One of my clients has a 2022. I must have stared at it for a good 10 minutes. I'm a fan of hatchbacks. He said they love the car and would buy it again. It was bigger than I thought. That cargo space is massive. I think it's a good choice for anyone in the market.
Every time I review this vehicle i think should I take it home? If I didn’t have a 4 door sports car Sam, I would buy it. They are awesome vehicles and because of the hatchback; cargo is not a problem.
Bought an Arteon 2021 in 2022 for 35k with 25K miles on it. The car is well made and looks better than a lot of Audis. I have people always complementing me in it. One thing, this German beauty is very delicate. I have been to the dealer every 3-5 months for replacement of steering wheel controls, then the steering wheel, battery problem, seat rail problem, center console where the camera resides issue, sensors beeping. I think the car is very thoughtful in the design but just requires a lot of attention and maintenance per VW standards. I don’t have the awd but should have gone for that and a ‘22 model! I will probably let it go after the original warranty expires. Reminds me of my past Audi, just constant problems. It’s the most good looking car I ever had though! It is a quality car but not a long lasting quality car.

These cars drive so well i watched a video of the CLA 180 there was a Arteon in front and in the comment section people were talking about how good the Arteon looked and moved on the road.
This is why I reviewed the vehicle, to explain what an awesome vehicle it is with comparison to more expensive vehicles.

Thanks for taking the Arteon out for a drive. I'm an ardent VW Group owner (VW & Porsche). I wanted to ask about the braking part, it stopped beyond the line at one light. There is another light where it clearly went into the crosswalk. 🤣 Were the brakes really that bad where it couldn't stop before the line? 🤔 (I'm figuring out what mods I need before I walk in the store to buy it)
Congratulations with your vehicle, VW makes some great vehicles. These features can do weird thing, a good example; Porsches will beep around Fords at stop lights or when you get close to them 🤷♂️ (North America Problem). I wouldn’t worry too much about them being perfect 👍
Great video, very informative. I love the car with the exception is black out all the chrome or black optics like in my Audi. Even a Grey optics being different would work.

i got brand new 2021 two years ago. I love the car but it does lack power (268hp), I was so mad when 2022 came with 300 hp lol. In my opinion this car should be at least 325. I love the way it handles in the snow too. It did take me 2 years to find out it had masager in the seat lol. great cat over all. When I pay it off I might go with Brand new Arteaon again. We will see what is gonna look like in 2025.
They are cool vehicles
Test drove the 2021, it was a nice car, but I felt like I was sitting really high in the car, it didn't feel like a cockpit at all. I like everything else about the car though... I bought a C7.5 S6

I own this vehicle and I don't think any part of it is "cheap", it's a well made vehicle and the price point is reasonable.
No vehicle is Cheap, it is the second most expensive item a person buys but it’s a huge bargain for the performance and total package compared to an Audi. This was the meaning and in this review I explain that 👍

How’s the audio (non Harmon kardon)
When you turn it up, the highs will lower the volume and distort. I change the volume setting to help with the lows turned up more and the bass lower.
@@HawkeyeRides I found a 2022 arteon Sel R line but I’m feeling like I need that Harmon Kardon 😓 I have a 2020 Toyota Camry XSE with the Jbl system and it’s a good system but I’ve always gravitated towards Honda systems
@@joseesqueda1994 the HK system is better but if your getting a good deal take it to speaker shop. Polk, JL Audio or Kicker is my go to and it might work out cheaper with a lot better sound.

I agree this vehicle really changes the game when it comes to performance and options compared to Audi and the benz
@@HawkeyeRides 14 years ago i convinced my father a big M.Benz fan to buy a VW CC over an Audi A4/A6 or M.B. C or E class as it was, even at that time it was a better value overall (it looked wounderfull and it aged well as this Arteon will) All the extras you could put, that were not cheap, but it were cheaper than on other premium German brands.
I would defently change for an Arteon, the only issue of these cars is really the depreciation value over 3 years

It’s better in performance and interior space but your right it’s not an Audi it’s a VW or Volkswagen Arteon SEL r-Line 4motion 😉
@@HawkeyeRides Better in performance how? You as well as I know essentially that the Arteon is slower than a 45 series A5.
@@sasothestrategizer the a5 is 0-60 on the sportback 5.3
This gets under 5 seconds they increased the hp last year by 32 and torque by 37, it’s faster than the 45 and 40. This has more hp and torque too. I’m not a VW lover but numbers do not lie. Audi makes a great vehicle but like every auto company, this is the sweet spot.
@@HawkeyeRides I’ve read and seen even lower for the A5 but thank you for informing me on the Arteons new numbers. I was not expecting them to be like that. I’ve owned primarily Audis and a couple of VWs. The biggest difference to me is that the experience with Audis has given me a better overall satisfaction. From the driving experience to having the vehicles serviced. I’ll consider one after three years and the price makes sense. Definitely a sleeper!

This is a great cold weather car, heats up very quick. Thirty-one degrees this morning and warm air came through the vents within three minutes too defrost the windshield. SE’s don’t have remote start.

It can't be as fast or faster then an Audi. VW will always be the generic audi.
I wanted to buy but with braking, not veing awd, and eith noisy bumps, I'll stick to something else.
They are not everyone’s favorite but great value 👍
This car really doesn't have an exhaust note. Then again, its not that type of car. This one performs, but the athleticism goes to the R version which is not imported to North America. I like the seats, but it doesn't appear to have thigh support which I need with my long 6'4 legs.
Do not get that gloss black if you can avoid it. My OCD would be full active viewing all those finger marks. Look great w hen brand new and untouched, but once it gets scratched its going to look horrible. Like foggy headlights.

Audi it isn't. While great idea to carry sportback, those gauges and infotainment system are so budget looking and tired in 2023. VW needs to step up the game. Time to ditch that corporate parts bin.
