he is actually a good host. Speaks simple and clear. Actually most of Pakistan cricketers when you hear them in studio seem so humble and mature. But when you heard of their stories on field and in dressing room you cannot believe it.
Shoaib Akhtar was really quick bowler and the way his career was handled was really poor. Pakistan cricket board should have given him special treatment and used him selectively and conserved his fitness and he could have easily played another 3-5 years. Not only was he quick he also had good bowling skills.
But then when you heard about his stories. Slapping Woolmer , hitting Asif with bat, and "allah maaf kare" contracting STD which was revealed by Pakistan cricket board chairman. He and PCB combined to ruin his career. Not ruin but end before end prematurely.
Sadly Md. Asif another great bowler met a worse fate. Was another great bowler but spot fixing caught with cocaine in Dubai. Shows his complete mis handling.
At least when Imran was captain he nurtured fast bowlers. It was Miandad who discovered Akram but Imarn Khan guided him and 1992 WC made him superstar. He discovered Waqar in Dubai and brought him to play for Pakistan. Even Aaqib Javed was guided by Imran and he played some really important matches for Pakistan in WC 1992 and other series. Inzimam was discovered by Imran.
I guess its the education. Imran was England educated so he knew how to manage and communicate.

Yes, it is the most ironical comments I have ever seen. If PCB was such harsh on fixing, then they would never had allowed Amir to play again. Also Pakistani players have already confessed many a times that 2010 incident was just where we got caught. Earlier also Pakistani players were involved in such fixing and when they informed to PCB during those times, they didn't help. So your comment lack valid proofs. While in IPL, when one time players were caught they never played again at any international level and in IPL.
