Got to look back at my childhood again. Love this man Shoaib Akhtar dearly. I used to love Pakistan cricket team. Became a left-handed batsman seeing Saeed Anwar although I have become a fan of Indian cricket after the 2003 World Cup but never wished ill about Shoaib Akhtar. I still remember the first time I saw him bowl on Ten Sports channel (probably) at the '90s and I was awestruck by him. I used to mimic his run up and celebration, ah! good old days. I was so happy when KKR bought him in the IPL and I still remember the match he got MOM award and SRK's crazy celebration. He's still the same. Bold, innocuous, and honest af. About Wasim Akram, I just hope and pray that someday he will be assigned as the bowling coach of Bangladesh cricket team. Thank you to this two legends for all the memories
I remember Wasim's hat trick in Sharjah against West Indies in the 90s. He was being booed when he misfielded and West Indies seemed to have an easy win. Wasim came to bowl after that and his hat trick made him win the match. Love you Wasim Akram.
I still remember India's tour of Pakistan in 2004...i was 18 years old that time and was so excited and used to listen cricket commentary on Radio bcz at that time, smartphone were not in market.... Those were the days...love from India

I hated Shoaib playing against India in his peak but he is the only bowler I loved watching the most playing international cricket... nothing more engaging and thrilling when he used to run from far to bowl... and after I started watching in various TV show I became his die hard fan... he is just a pure entertainment and always makes sense with great sense of humor...

So many memories of Indo-Pak cricket matches n World Cup matches during mid-1980s n 1990s featuring both the formidable players came flooding back. My respect for both. Love from India. 🇮🇳
