  • @YourLocalFireAlarmTech

    I actually have an old Brinks security kit that I havent got running yet. got it years ago. The speaker that came with it is branded "Revere" and I think it looks similar to the ELK/DSC sirens, but I remember loving the tone that Brinks/Broadview has for the system. I also have like 2 Honeywell Wave2 sirens that I got with a few of the Fire alarm Lots I get on EBAY. Im gonna have to mess with the Brinks kit later lol. Awesome PEAKER though hahaha!

    The DSC SDM-100 siren driver goes to a speaker and the driver makes it very loud.

    I am using the vista 20p for my home system. I will be putting speaker strobes on the system (On a relay). Would the elk-110 siren driver work with these speaker strobes?

    • @nics-systems-electric
      @nics-systems-electric  Před rokem

      If they are fire alarm speaker strobes they would be 24 or 70 V that elk is only 12 V

    • @nics-systems-electric
      @nics-systems-electric  Před rokem

      maybe it’s just LED lighting and under voltage or if it’s not that probably some sort of connection problem usually that would fail pretty quick from arcing though
