    I love the 2nd method. You end up with continuous plarn, without knotting. Saves me alot of time. Thanks for the idea.

    Nice that you showed both methods. Ring method might make it possible to make plane from thinner bags that could be combined with some made by the flat method from thicker ones.

    Folding the bags before cutting the ends off seemed to be an extra step. Just an opinion. Love the idea of using it as a yarn. Nice video.

      I was wondering the same thing. It's so much easier to do it the way with the white bags. I have made, plarn mats and brought them over to my local church for the homeless shelter. They don't attract bed bugs or lice and can be easily washed. I'm going to be posting a video soon on how to store plastic bags and how I make the plarn mats. I also Crochet hats and donate them to my local Hospitals for new born babies as well as Cancer Patients. It's part of my giving back, through my one woman business..

    I have a lot of produce bags that I don't want to throw away yet II'm not a crafter. Can I send them somewhere to be used by someone? Don't know what to do with them.

    • @cdnerin
      @cdnerin Před 7 lety +2

      There are TONS of facebook groups for each town & city out there for all kinds of things: crafting (even specific local groups for crafts, like scrapbooking or crochet or pottery, etc), upcycling (giving stuff away instead to sending to the garbage dump), gardening, even lots of moms groups on facebook. You name it, there is at least one group on facebook for it -- it's a GREAT way to get rid of stuff. If you're anti-facebook, there are often Freecycle type of groups through Yahoo or the freecycle website you could try. A lot of church groups take the plastic bags for their members to craft things, especially with the plarn, like sleeping mats for the homeless, or they'll have craft sales for charity, so there are often crafters that want bags to make plarn.
      Hope that helps!

      Pero por favor la proxima vez antes que hacer un comentario entra en el canal y hechale un vistazo y sobretodo hacer videos en tu idioma no es algo que tienes que dar por hecho. Yo para entender el ingles hice el esfuerzo de estudiar. Ademas hacer videos en tres idiomas es una gran fatiga, espero que lo entiendas.
