YES! HELP ME....NIII------. PLEASE. Its hot AF outside and I sweat out everything!
Hello Anthony, please tell me where i can find petformance materials what you've mentioned in the beginning of the video ?!
Hi Anthony ! What can you say about bamboo and Lyocell for summer ?!
As someone who sunburns easily, a loose fitted button down shirt is a great staple that keep the sun off my arms and the air flowing over my torso.
Totally agree. I just donât button the cuffs.
Absolutely. I am light skinned, for a Mexican. I worked in all weather in my early years, and had to have birth marks removed because of exposed forearms, wiping sweat off my face with my arm..The sun was not that bad in California, and it still caused damage. Yet, Coastal folks 'take it all off' at the sight of sunshine. Try that here in S.E. Arizona....
Undershirt is very helpful to absorb the sweat. If it is realty hot (and humid), you will still get sweaty despite of how breathable you think your outfit is. Better to have something thats absorbs the sweat to avoid sweat stains at the shirt.
Agree. San Antonio gets HOT and nothing is worse than perspiration showing in the armpits of a dress shirt.
As a Brit living in Florida, I truly appreciate this advice! THANK YOU :)
I stopped wearing undershirts about eight years ago and I always felt cooler and sweated way less than when I did. Plus it allows more air to flow through my shirt and cool me off. The one exception is when wearing a white dress shirt and I know Iâll be taking the jacket off at some point.
An undercover shirt never made sense to me. You would always sweat more
For me, the only exception for wearing an undershirt is wintertime, when I'll wear a long-sleeved three-button Henley underneath a thick flannel, and (depending on how cold it is) with some sort of pea coat or dress coat on top of all that
And in my case, an undershirt is a must. I don't really see a difference in sweating with or without, but when i'm wearing undershirt at list i don't get sweat stains on my shirts
With linen shirts, I probably won't wear an undershirt. I want that airy weave to keep me cool. I don't get the no show socks look. I don't want to be looking at a man's bare ankles. My style icons wore socks!
I live in Southern AZ and the heat here is brutal. 110-115 is usually the norm and it does get even higher than that at times. It's hard not to slip into the shorts and t-shirt combo all the time. After watching your videos for a little while now, I've been trying to update my style. A hat is almost an absolute necessity so I went with an upgrade in that department. Stetson royal flush in straw. Something different from the typical hats seen around here
I'm from Georgia where going outside during the summer is equal to walking inside an oven. I often where an undershirt for a lot of my button ups. I find the undershirt absorbs the sweat, protecting my shirts. If the undershirt is cotton I find it really doesn't add any extra heat.
I always wear a thin linen shirt, mostly white or light in color. Sometimes with an unlined linen sports jacket. I let them stay wrinkled.
"maybe you're greek! đ" đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
I used a Guayabera in southern Mexico and now Iâm the governor of Chiapas.
Video Idea: Mens Fashion for Wet/Rainy Weather. Here in the South East US, we have had a lot of summer showers. It made it difficult for me to dress business casual because it severely limited a lot of the items I usually wear. like leather dress shoes/boots, suede shoes etc. It's too hot for a peacoat or similar overcoat etc.
My problem wit no show socks is that often an edge on the shoe will irritate the skin when there is no sock there. I will also say that I just don't like the look, especially with long pants, as it just looks like the person forgot his socks.
Undershirts are very valuable when you are indoors and the a/c is colder than it should be
I used to wear crew neck undershirts year round. I always had one poking out of the Polo or shirt I was wearing. A couple of years ago I stopped. They add unnecessary bulk to your look and here in the South, unnecessary heat for at least half the year.
As a dancer, I feel the blends discussed in this video will be useful year-round. Time to hit that summer clearance, gents.
Thanks for this! I really had no idea about different fabrics and stuff. I saw one of your videos about linen a couple months ago, so I bought a linen suit to wear when I went to Bermuda. Loved it! I now have several linen shirts, shirts and pants and really havenât had any issues with wrinkling and I love that the shirts dry off so quickly if Iâm sweating.
Yesterday in part of the world it was 52c in my town and to be honest nothing would keep you cool. My only advice is to size up for summer and normally I wear t shirts but when the sun is hot I go for short sleeve shirts. You can unbutton as many had you want to get some air to flow and linen shirts slightly creased look cool as, in my book anyway. My only other advice is if your out for the day take another set of clothes to change into. There is no point fighting the heat just go with it, great video as always .............................. no where is the air con remote
I always wear an undershirt, even in The summer months ( I live in N. Texas)
I know it goes against the old rule of Fit Is King, but instead of "not saying you should wear baggy clothes..." how about some advice on how to wear items that maybe ARE a little bit bigger. Maybe something that isn't all the way off of a perfect fit, or clothes that are designed to be a bit roomier, even when you're wearing a size that's true-to-fit.
Always interesting topics but the best part is using Chapter Headings for your topic headings.
I would only wear a undershirt in extreme heat if I wearing formal attire.
Great Job King
I always wear a cotton undershirt under a button-up shirt, and my pullover casual shirts are always cotton. Maybe some of the most modern performance fabrics can suffice, but I prefer cotton under my arms in hot weather.
I really appreciate this - so much men's style advice seems to assume you won't mind wearing multiple layers of thick heavy fabric every time you step outside.
Sir, I think that undershirt is a must whether it is hot or cold
Itâs so hot at the beach right now I can hardly maintain a tank top. Short sleeve linen button up w/ shorts is my only nighttime attire.
It's been over 110 here in vegas lately, perfect timing.
Moving to a tropical climate in august. Gotta keep this video bookmarked.
Another choice I have found to be breathable are bamboo fabric shirts.
Love my undershirts, and never worry about obvious sweat displays.
Piqué is pronounced with the e in the end, more like peek-kay. Like Gerard Piqué.
What advice to people who sweat a lot like hyperhydrosis on the face. I also live in South Florida and the humidity kills us! I find wearing two undershirts help one dri fit to wick and one to absorb the sweat. I wear all black because it hides the sweat
I sweat a lot so I always wear undershirt when ever I wear shirts because it protects the shirts
Undershirts in hot weather......yes.
Antonio, do you have a video of cleaning the interiors of shoes?
This might be a stretch on your areas of expertise but can you make a video on this same topic but for conceal carry? Thank you
This video gets a bravo!!!! Under shirt year round...yes!!!!!
Since last autumn I've started to dress more like the man I know myself to be. This is the first summer with my new style. Since I'm still slowly buying the right clothes, I donÂŽt have anything for the summer yet. When It's pretty warm outside I still wear a dress shirt with undershirt with trousers.
When it is 'Hot AF' outside, like today, I'm forced to 'downgrade' to some of my old clothes that are a few sizes too big now. It feels kind of wrong, even though it is the type of clothes I've been wearing for all of my life. Not wearing an undershirt feels wrong nowadays. I do, hower wear sleeveless shirts on those days. Partly because the ones I have are closest to my size. Even though my 'guns' are small pistols at the moment, I'm training to upgrade them to high caliber magnums. That, and I don't give a damn. It's 'Hot AF' outside.
Jason Momoa pulls off the sleeveless well.
No undershirt in South Florida
Yes I always wear an undershirt! (:
Thanks for supporting Ukraine!
Thank you for this video.. please make india centric video... We r most populous country with hot weather average 40 to 43c
What are your thoughts concerning âtech wearâ? Personally, Iâm a fan of it specifically with shorts. I find it flexible and easy to spot clean as needed.
Hey Antonio, what are those white minimal sneakers you showed? Not the Thursday Boots sneakers.
Dear Antonio it would be soo nice of you if could suggest us how to decide the kind of hairstyle depending upon face shape...in you future videos or maybe a community post. đ
Perfect timing! Here you go: czcams.com/video/5gkD2IGG6Hk/video.html
@@RealMenRealStyle Thanks alot. đ
Iâm on team always wear an undershirt, even in extreme heat. (I usually wear the lightweight tank top
Style). However, the reason I do this is I have skin sensitivity issues and if something (such as a belt) touches/ rubs on my skin, it causes red rash/ irritation that can take days to clear up, itâs made worse with sweat. Even the thin barrier of the undershirt prevents this. Combined with the fact Iâm law enforcement so I always carrying around extra gear in my waistbandâŠ.. yeah the undershirt is a necessity for me.
It's triple digits regularly in summer in TX. This is near impossible. I sweat sitting still let alone moving around or being outdoors. Undershirts is a definite no, unless the goal is to maximize sweating
What's your opinion on silk shirts and/or shorts? I really like how they feel in the summer and I think they give off a vacation vibe. They're also cooling.
I wear undershirts in summer. The main reason I suppose is that I know I'm going to be sweating anyway so I'd rather sweat into the undershirt and protect my clothes. I also wear a sleeveless undershirt/vest (Americans say tank top?) if whatever I'm wearing on top has short sleeves
If your in a equator country like the Philippines, rock sandals, shorts and any Tshirt that fits you well, maybe even throw a hawaiian shirt on top
Agreed!
I could never wear a t shirt. They are so dopey. Teen stuff
Anyone know the brand of the loafers in the beginning of the video?
I'd definitely wear an undershirt if its soft and breathable and I'm wearing a button up or suit. Also if its 85+ and I'm wearing a lighter color shirt over it.(definitely don't want sweat marks
I own many pairs of no-show socks, but I end up not using them. I found that leather shoes with leather soles keep my feet cool and dry. They don't smell.
@realmenrealstyle is the vitaman stuff ok for someone with mild eczema. I need help with this.
Secondly do you send to Australia?
Thank you
My doctor once mentioned that she's seeing a lot more skin cancer on the ears of men, because men either wear baseball/trucker caps or no headwear at all when in the sun. Women have longer hair on average, so are not as affected. She emphasized the need to wear a brimmed hat, not a cap, in summer sunshine.
Haircut video link does not show at the end of the video. Just thought you should know.
All my dress shirts are baggy around the sides and back. Do i just need to get them tailored?
I kinda feel like this one was for me over my complain about the heat. Is Xsuit UPF?? Another thing is there any good UPF you would recommend?? The only stylish one I came across was coolibar
Linen linen linen
âLinen is a lie, it does not keep you freshâ Giorgio Armani
It's hot inside the building at my job and I bought some linen shirts, honestly it wasn't worth the price to me. I have several man made material shirts (polyester, rayon) and they are much cooler.
I'm an old dude (56), and I just cannot buy into the leather loafer as a summer look. As a casual guy in almost all facets of life, I'd look like a poser. I did buy a couple pairs of mocs from Olukai (technically loafers), but they are beefier and more casual. The leather gets that natural worn look. I can't do sleek and dressy.
I watch so much RMRS that when I close my eyes, I hear: âDRESS IT UP DRESS IT DOWNâ and âVERSATILE.â
Any Vitman products for 70 year old Marine
Negative on the sleeveless
Here in Dominican Republic, you should wear undershirt, otherwise you will sweat the shirt. It is always hot in DR. Regards Antonio.
Personally, it helped me that I spent majority of my childhood in the Southern states.
đ Maybe it's only for me.. but when the brim of a panama goes up even a little bit it looks a bit dorky for me
S.E. Arizona heat is at 110° F. It is TOO hot to be under the sun. I normally wear a long sleeve, or a t-shirt with an open long sleeve over shirt. This really helps airflow....Even hot air helps sweat to vaporise. I avoid bare skin under any warm sunshine. Cowboy hat works great to keep the brain temp below boiling point. At least a ball cap. Cowboy boots always, unless my 61 yr old body says "wear tennis". Ball cap only, then. Notes: I am of Mexican cowboy lineage. In California,I got zero respect if I wore my cowboy hat. I just looked like a field worker to folks. Didn't matter that my hat was premium.beaver. Cartel dudes sort'a ruined alot for that look. Only if going to a Mex dance- night club did I fit in. But I moved to Arizona, and ANYTHING goes, here. Cowboy, stoner, rocker, ect. Its your confidence that carries you here. And alot of women go nuts over the cowboy look. They do not care if theres no cow chett under your boots.
Iâm Mexican and I love wearing a guayabera on hot summer days; however, whenever I wear them people always say that I look Colombian đ€Ł
Living in North Florida and it can get hot here...I have brown nipples and must wear an undershirt with light colored shirts. With dark colors, I don't wear an undershirt unless it's a dress shirt. I feel less sweaty with one layer if it is breathable like a 32 degrees crew neck or bamboo shirt but they look like undershirts. So I am still trying to figure out if I want to sacrifice on sweat or looking like an undershirt....
A while ago i've heard of white shirts especially made to hide the skin... i think it's in first line for tattooed skin.. so they don't shine through.
But i give af about my nipplesđ€ as a girl, ok.. but as a man?
Love seersucker!
You uploaded a new video the same time as me.
Only reason I know seersucker is because of Gentlemanâs Gazette lol
The last point about wearing cultural pieces made me sad that Iâm Scottish. But then I realized I could wear tartan trousers or jackets and not have to go full kilt
I will wear and undershirt, i order to not get sweat spots
Thin fabrics and avoid synthetics
Clark Gable didn't wear an undershirt, I'm not wearing an undershirt! That's citing authority.
no under shirt for me
No undershirt in Tokyo during the summer while wearing a suit? Good luck, gents. Your light blue shirt will turn dark blue no matter what you do.
If you know whats best for you, do the undershirt. People who think the undershirt is not necessary has either a) never experienced a truly hot and humid climate, or b) don't have issues with perspiration.
Skip these dang subtitles. This isn't TikTok.
Just a suggestion globally conscious real men, when you wash your clothes in any washing machine the wastewater ultimately ends up in the ocean, man made fibres do not break down like cotton, linen and wool and make up a lot of they call micro plastics.
"Hot AF Outside?" Antonio, you sound like the headline of an online Cosmo article. Do you actually speak like that?
No show socks will eventually end up under your feet and make it a nightmare to walk unless you stop to fix them every 5 minutes or so. Even the fanciest one i bought would do their jobs the first few washes then eventually lose their grip.
No undershirt.
What keeps me cool - being butt naked!!!! Even when out shopping!!!
Undershirt...... For me, that's for official dress when I don't like to have sweat only. If it's official work in the evening, I will refuse to wear undershirt. Also, I think wearing undershirt would be for only Bachelor people. Women might not interest any guys wearing undershirt and make unbutton. I don't know. I feel the conflict.
Death 4 the truth
Um, no. Perferated loafer?? Not at all.
When itâs hot, youâre gonna sweat. Undershirts are the only way to not look gross.
When it's hot it is better to wear micro briefs instead of boxer briefs. Or string tanga.
Too much âwaffleâ, whereâs the topic?
I never wear socks here in Greece, a foot powder will keep your feet cool and no sweat. My shoes / feet never smell
Do not wear clothes of wool and linen woven together they both has a frequency of 500 and cancels out each other. This conflict WILL drain your energy and it will affect your mental health.
11 mn of publicity, where's the topic?
There is a lot wrong with a with a baseball cap. Firstly, they are not stylish. They are children's wear (unless you're on the field with your team). Secondly, they advertise that you are just trying to hide the fact that you're going bald and that's kind of pathetic. Thirdly, if you aren't going bald, everyone assumes you are. Fourthly there's a high probability that a grown man wearing a baseball cap is a douche.
If the sun is a serious problem, it won't protect your ears. I knew a guy in Hawaii who surfed for years wearing a baseball cap. He got melanoma of the earlobes and had to have his entire earlobes amputated.
Never , ever Wear anything under your shirt. âundershirt.
In India...we have a habit of wearing undershirt from birth. Its a hot country, so undershirt is definitely yes.
