This is what the first ever Hearts of Iron 4 competitive league will be all about and the best players from the league will compete in the biggest upcoming tournament, the HOI4 International 2023 (or 2024)!
But that's all far away and for now you will see the Allies vs Axis in a custom made HOI4 Mod compete for 100$!

I thought the thumbnail was an enlarged Italy 1v1 map. I think for E-sports a cool idea is an enlarged map of certain battles. Italy, North Africa, Kursk/Stalingrad. You could also have perhaps a 2v2 or 4v4 depending on how large the map is for micro. I think that would be super cool. The greyed out countries look kinda lame but ik it’s early

I love these tournaments, it feels kinda like actual sports lmao
So I see there are 5-6 different areas of the map you can play on? That’s actually sick. If this becomes a legit esport it could allow map vetos and would require players to learn and develop strategies for each “map”.
I loved the speed 5 tourneys and I love tommy Kay commentary. This is amazing. Good content tommy!

Replacing 2 4x heavy mgs with 2 2x cannon 1 actually wins, u can test it urself
it wins vs ai cus ai has like zero defense. with an actual player the plane with cannons has higher agility and avoids most of the conflict

Yeah cuz it has more air attack. But it loses a lot of agility and thus will fail in 1vs1.

You should allow players to select 3/4/5 speed, to help players who are more methodical vs those who can speed it, a bit like professional speed chess and professional player level chess players 😊

we really need a modern day mod that is actually really good and then do a massive tournament for the major powers...
us, russia, china, japan, turkey, brazil, india...and then all the minor countries
and show us a good ww3 world and chaos...what would ww3 look like...brics vs nato...india and brazil can be neutral at start and pick either brics or nato
edit: but this is really cool too...maybe do something like this to get the players for the major powers for a ww3 epic tourney
this game is not possible to make good modern day mod as the war has changed so much. But it would be cool if someone made a game like that.
