    Americans need to learn 1 thing
    Everything is allowed in conversation. If a black person feels attacked because of the Word black then he is mentaly not steady and you should clearly ignore him since black people use the word white in every situation they can use(my personal experience)
    Same for the N word. No one is every allowed to say it since its a word we dont need in our language but if black people use it while forbid you to say it then theyre definetly not better then the slaverys back in the Days. We are Humans, colors or Nations are so irrelevant.
    Want equality? Live it - dont talk about it.

    • @PrettyPinkPeacock
      @PrettyPinkPeacock Pƙed 2 lety +2

      People aren't better than slaves if they point out that it's more wrong for a non-black person (asian, white, etc) to use a word rooted in oppression (like, slavery based oppression) than the people who are descended from people who it was used to oppress in a casual conversation? Woah yikes.

    • @jacobpaint
      @jacobpaint Pƙed 2 lety +1

      People who are legitimately upset by these words are also offended when people of a similar colour to them use the word. It’s for those people that we don’t use the word, the people who use them and then pretend to be offended by when someone else does, simply because of the apparent race of the person saying it, are just playing racist games. The idea that a white person even using the word when quoting a black person is racist is clearly the definition of racism. Judging a person by their character and not the colour of their skin was a concept popularised by a champion of US racial progress but that’s an idea that has been lost on many.
      Fortunately there are some very credible people such as Glen Lowry, John McWhorter and Colman Hughes (to name a few) who promote a more reasonable, thoughtful view of racial progress and don’t want their racial identity to be a pivotal factor in why their words have weight.

    • @Canbomb
      @Canbomb Pƙed 2 lety +5

      Yeah as a black person. I'm not happy that anyone use that word. I feel like black people who use it and tell others not too just want some kinda power, some kinda relevance.. just wanna matter, and is hurt.. and would even hurt other blacks by the word. Thats what history oppression made of them and hurt people hurt people.

    How about everyone just stopped getting offended by just about anything? Black people are black, white people are white. Those are colours, not insults. Anyone being offended by being labelled as 'black' or 'white' even though the premise is not meant to be offensive has some serious mental issues.
    I mean where's the equality in this? Black people always joke about white people, White people this, white people that, white people can't jump, nerds being labelled as 'the whitest people' etc etc etc and that's okay but then there are people who lose their jobs or become a target of disgusting and violent hatred for saying an innocent joke about black people or even worse, describing a black person as black. And I'm sorry but as long as this is happening, which it is and that's not nearly the whole of it, then this is not a laughing matter. Peoples' lives are ruined because of that.
    The point is that as long as black people can't be racist, which is the current status quo, there's no equality and these things are just not funny. I mean has anyone ever heard about a black guy getting into trouble for being racist to white people? Because I know a guy who got suspended from their job for calling his spanish speaking friend 'mate' in Spanish (the word is 'negrito') and also I know a black person who got a commendation for heavily implying that white people are inferior. And why do you think that is? Because no black person has ever been racist to a white person? No, it's because that somehow is okay.
