Living for Love (dance mashup with un-related song)

- It took me less than 1 minute to make this because I just took one of my old dance mashups and added a different music video over it.
This video is just for fun and I'm not making mashups anymore (except maybe silly stuff like this). My guess is I'll get a lot of people unsubscribing after this video and have them wondering why on earth they are subscribed to me in the first place and I don't blame them.
When I first started there was only one reaction mashup on youtube (for Man of Steel) and some reaction compilations but I wanted a reaction mashup for Doctor Who so made my own and then kept going. But now there are so many people doing reaction mashups that I just feel like I can simply watch their videos and not have to make one myself. All the best everyone :)

Hi Blake, I am planning to Edit & Upload Reaction mashups myself. Could you please let me know about the Fair Use on CZcams?
a) Should I take approval from the channel reactor?
OR
b) Should I only use the reactions available on 'Creative Commons'? (I don't think this is likely)
OR
c) Can I just edit & upload the reactions mashup without any permission? (i.e I will attach their channel links in my description obviously) Your input would be Great Help.
I have two strikes on my channel from reaction mashups. If just one more person in any of my reaction mashups makes an official complaint then my entire channel will be deleted (hence why I don't make reaction mashups anymore).
Ideally you'd ask the reactor's for permission but then you have to wait a long time for the responses, some of which never come. I've done this on some videos (e.g. my "Doctor Who: Running Through Time & Space (Reaction Mashup + subtitles)" video) but not on the majority. It's the same reason reactor's don't ask the original content creators of TV shows (for example) if they can use clips of episodes in their reactions.
In terms of copyright I think you'll always be in danger of your channel being deleted if you go down this route. Might be worth seeing what AdikTheOne thinks about all this as he probably has better advice. Good luck! :)
Blake Dale Ya I completely understand what you are saying 👍 But we see many people doing Reactions on Movie trailers & they seem to be fine. So that’s why I was confused ....
@@rohitvarmabhupathiraju5238 One of my strikes is from someone who reacted to a movie trailer (even though they themselves had the full trailer in their reaction as a large video) so yeah it's definitely confusing. I wish you all the best :)

So I think I was the second person to make reaction mashups (most people made reaction compilations before that).
It was successful and I got lovely comments! So, I kept going. But now there are so many people doing reaction mashups that I just feel like I can simply watch their videos and not have to make them myself. Probably not to be honest, or if I do it will be very rare. I was thinking of making a compilation of songs sung by one of the bard's on Critical Role (D&D RPG show) but depends on when I find time and if I can download the software again.

Honestly, there were so many people making these mashups by the time I stopped that I felt I could watch their videos instead of having to make them myself :)
