my advice, don't install yet if meron naman available grid sa inyo. mas mura pa rin ang P12 per KWH than building your solar setup.
Accurate lahah sinabi nila. We almost have the same setup. 7kw hybrid nga lng yung sa amin. Total na nagastos namin 350k. Same din from 15 to 18k electric bill ngayon 2700 to 3k na lng bill namin. Nakakatuwa kasi laki tipid pero sana babaan pa ng mga installers ang presyo para mas abot kaya. Its green and a very good investment.

Madami po sila appliances at 4 Aircon, 2 refrigerator, washing machine. Kung 2 Aircon, 1 refrigerator, rice cooker, washing machine at electric fan, ilaw lang, makalibre Ka na sa kuryente.

Panalong-panalo. Here in Germany, installation pa lang costs na around 500K PHP but you get to be paid by government kapag may excess kang nasave na energy kasi yung excess energy, nababalik sa grid at binabayaran ka for that. You are saving money and you earn also by contributing to the grid. Sana ganyan din dyan. Good job to both of you!

Real talk from my experience using solar panels for almost 3 yrs now. Sirain po ang battery at panels. Papalitan mo siya after 2 to 3 yrs. Lugi na sa halagang 150k. Roi siguro 5 to 8yrs. Mamaintenance ang solar. Pag medyo gloomy naman nailaw naman pero mga ilaw lng. Sa 150k na bayad from 3k monthly bill magiging 1.5k to 2k nlng monthly mo. Isipin mo 150k ilalabas mo pra makatipid ka ng 500pesos monthly hehe hndi pa kasama jan maintenance.
di po talaga magnda kung off grid na need ng battery kasi may lifespan po talaga yan at mahal depende din po yan sa type ng battery kung Li-on 10 years ang lifespan nun , best po talga is on grid.

Kasi hanapin sa internet, maraming kumpanya ng solar sa pinas, pero kung gusto mo mabilis acreditation ng meralco para sa net metering, mag spectrum ka subsidiary kasi ng meralco.
I guess because mentioning the installer would be the same as advertising for free. It's the same reason why some celebrities avoid mentioning brands they don't personally endorse. Another reason, I guess, is because it's not the point of the story. They wanted to highlight the utilization of solar energy and not any solar company. They want to inspire people to invest in solar panels because it's not only pocket-friendly (in the long run) but also eco-friendly.
just to make sure, they said 200,000 pesos for everything? as in $3,700 dollars for panels and installation? seems too cheap thats why im asking thanks
@@archiecruz6336 they didn't include batteries kasi focus nila ung net metering.. when they have excess electricity during the day and after pag gabi kukuha lang sila ng electric sa meralco, netmetering kasi problema dyan bayad nila sayo is 50% lang kung kokonin mo ung excess mo na binigay sa kanila babayarin mo parin ung ng 100%.. so ung 1khw mo nagin 0.5 nalang. ang battery kasi is the most expensive component ng solar panel system .. it will cost twice as more that your solar panels. The guy din is pretty knowledgeable sa solar i think he did his research and which path is bang for the money.. anyways you can slowly build a battery system sa bahay, ung mga LiFePO4 batteries, or you could go to the expensive rout and get a huawei solar battery luna2000.
Cons ng grid tie din ay kung sa gabi biglang brown out wala rin silang kuryente ... unlike off grid and hybrid may battery back up kaso mas mahal kasi sa battery prices( hindi isang battery lng yun)
Sa Australia merong mga solar power ang mga bahay halos lahat. At meron pa ngang sobra na na-pro produce ang solar kesa sa mga na co consume ng every household.

That's what I have in mind too..I just hope the home owners are seeing all these comments for them to give the information of the solar company they hired.Or they could also give us how to reach them since OG is not willing to share the information..
Too good to be true for only 200k for 8kw.
Ours is 5kw its 210k. On grid and we had just finish applying from meralco. I still hav to observe for our nxt month bill

industry standard naman ang typhoon resistant installing, dapat ang rack ng solar panels attached directly to the roof frame.

hello sir, may i ask who is your contractor for solar panel? nag inquired na ako sa few solar company, jusko pinaka mura nila is 400 to 600 if mag hybrid, sa on grid naman aabutin ng 300 - 400. kaya 200 k is really a good price.

Parang nakakalito ang 200,000 na binanggit na price, mukang instalation lang yun. Kung ibabase naten sa sinabi nila na ROI sa 3.5yrs, hindi siya tugma sa 200,000 na gastos. lalabas kasi na 4,700 lang nassave nila monthly if ganun. Pero binanggit nila na ang consumption nila ay 12k to 15k monthly. if ibbase naten sa 12k monthly, then ROI na 3.5yrs, lalabas na lampas sila sa 500k ang presyo overall. Nakakagulo lang itong video para sa mga interested magpakabit.
Kung tama yung computation mo, true lang na namumurahan ako sa binanggit nilang total cost 😄.

I think you should understand off grid, grid tie and hybrid for me personally there is no such thing as a zero bill Kasi kung achieve mo at zero bill the investment would be millions and depends on what appliances are you using you have to compute how many Kw on all the appliances you'll be using for solar and mind you energy gathering is not a hundred percent since we have rain and we can get cloudy weather if you combine it with wind energy as alternative it can give you more but investment wise million gagastusin mo sa battery palang mahal ma depends on the battery your going to be using and different types of batteries lead acid and litepo 50%lng kaya Kunin sa solar harvest kapag Yan gagamitin mo sa litepo 80% di pwede idrain Ang battery kaya para ma achieve mo Yan you need more batteries more batteries more investment anday expiration mga Yan either 5 to yrs at bibili ka ulit

For me Your math is not consistent. 200,000 cost of solar system roi of 3.5 years = 57k a year or 4.7k a month only. versus your 12k to 15k electric bill before net metering.
Using 12k a month electric bill x 12 = 144k a year x 3.5 years ROI total cost of solar panels system is 500k

On Grid no battery backup is the cheapest depending on company 200k is not impossible. Its the cheapest price i have heard but lowest until now i knew of was 245k so its possible especially of you go for the Grid tie with no Batteries involved
@@Dave-qu5wf ok so basically on grid system is usable only during daytime since it has no battery for storage then its cheaper? It will not zero out your bill since you will be using electricity from the grid in the evening BUT if you have net metering you can sell your excess and it will be deducted from your bill and possibly zeroing out your monthly bill correct?
Slater's set-up is your top of the line while other cheap set-ups are your basic.
@@cocoylawsy You have to install a larger system than you actually need so that you may have excess to sell. Then for what you are selling they are giving you as a credit much less than what they charge you. It's up to you to decide if that is worth it. Personally, I went with a hybrid system with batteries which I installed myself.
