We are attempting the Black Flags only challenge on the Challenge course at Dreamland in Dripping Springs, TX. This is one of the best mini golf courses in the world, and we attempt to play on the hardest mini golf flag version of the course. How well can we play? One of us even gets an insane mini golf hole in one!

That sign is famous and is from a PGA course called Bethpage Black, that they don't suggest weak players even play. Cool to see it show up on a mini golf course.

Loved the reference to Bethpage's black course. I have to say that the rain was not obvious on the video. Though, I'm sure I wouldn't want to play in any amount of rain, trying to film in any rain is not something I'd want to do, either.

There's a really cool black light mini-golf course inside the Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine Texas known as Lunar Mini Golf.

Interesting what you call rain over there. We in northern Germany would call this drizzle ^^
If you pause at 11:33 and look over Brooks' shoulder, the word "RAIN" appears on the wall. If this were a movie, I would have taken this as intentional foreshadowing. Since it's IRL, it's just weird.

On Black Flag or similar courses you should treat the other holes as hazards. If you hit into the wrong hole you take a 1-stroke penalty and place the ball anywhere within 6 inches of the hole (The hole becomes a placement dot with a 6 inch radius). If the course rules allow it, raise the stroke-out to from 6 to 8.
Yeah, having a stroke out limit of 6 seems peculiar when some of the holes are PAR 5... doesn't give you much to play with.
On the really difficult ones I'd consider raising the limit to 9, and then stroke out on 10 if you can't do it in 9...

Normal Texas weather for this time of the year! Cold and raining for a few hours....then the sun comes out and it'll 80° the rest of the day! Y'all were brave going out there....down in that area, it's known for flash flooding.

The rollbacks on that course are wicked. The sloping didn’t appear that worrisome but they must look very different in person. Both of those aces were terrific.

the one thing I think is really cool is with that warning sign it would you feel like if you were at a golf course in Farmingdale New York by the name Bethpage black that has a warning sign that's pretty much the same as that warning sign

Hmm. Hole 5-6 gave me an idea. Is it possible to play the entire course continuously and only go for the final black hole? That would be epic.

It didn't happen this round, but this is an example of a course where you shouldn't have a 6 stroke limit, but a "3 over par" limit. It just doesn't make sense for someone who gets a par to be just 1 better than someone who never gets in the hole at all. So Par 5 holes should have a stroke limit of 8, or even maybe 9. Especially if there is no one else on the course.
You faced an pretty big challenge making that video decision to stop at Hole 9; and pick it up from there later. Look forward to seeing the rest of this course. Do go back after it is rebuilt so that we can see what became of it.
On Elisha's hole 5, it would have made it if the flag wasn't there. So, yaw should have counted it as going in. :-P

I was betting on sub par but we don't know what the last holes par was. I would guess a 4 could be a 3 I doubt it would be a 5.
Elisha would 4 or 5 under par and brook 3 or 4 over in spite of that catastrophic hole 4.
if it goes back to start and leaves the carpet it is consider a stroke.
