yea this happen to me today since i got a new charger for the same PlayStation Vita the same that you had and even i will see if the battery is doing the same thing

i just bought a used one off ebay, and it seems to drain the battery pretty fast 90-80 within like 15-20 mins(just downloading games and sitting at the home screen), should i replace the battery just to be safe?

I replaced my battery and turns on and is great but when i charger the ps vita the orange light stays on for around 15 seconds then turns off anyone got any solutions

My vita is just blinking fast orange when it's off and plugged in. I just got it and modded it and bought a $10 offbrand very cheap quality charger from a local game shop. Do you think that could be it? And if so should i stop trying to use it? Because the guy i got it from had it fully charged no problem

@fasttechvideo I mean like really fast, but I just switched the cable out of the cheap box part of the charger into a regular power brick which I heard you weren't supposed to do but now it's solid orange instead of rapid blinking? It's not just gonna be alright when it looks like lightning lol
I have a vita that charges and left charging for a day but when I try to turn it on it will show a green light for a sec and stay off off I even replaced the battery and did the same and no power still do you know what the issue might be
Could be water damaged or the system has some type of short on the board or bad component.
@@fasttechvideo sadly it was the processor I guess it gave up and wouldn’t hold a charge so I got a new one that’s nicer but a little scratched up
I did all this and my ps vita is not on or charging, the orange light is not on at all. I don’t know what to do, I made sure I followed all the tips, any suggestions?
Defective replacement battery. If you bought it from us you can send it back for a replacement or refund but I doubt you got it from us since we test them before shipping
I have a problem my vita its charging only when it's powered off. And every time it has low battery . What could it be ? ( Also the metal between the two joysticks is missing for some reason)
The lithium ion cells in the battery degrade over time. A battery is a consumable item and eventually needs to be replaced. That's what happening to your Vita. Hope that helps. If you a need a battery check the top comment.
What metal between the joysticks? Can you be more specific?
@@fasttechvideo On the motherboard the two big metal plates . I think they must be there to protect the chips on the motherboard

My psvita blinks one long orange light and a fast one then doesn’t do anything what is the problem
Battery or could even be a bad charger

@@imodi1565 you could have a defective battery. If you bought it from us you can send it back for a refund or replacement
@@fasttechvideo I bought 2 batteries ! And from different suppliers, yet same results I don’t know what’s wrong , but I tried connecting the charger while holding the power it flashes orange 3 times instead of 2
