I've had this album on for months on repeat and it hits me in the feels so hard sometimes. I rarely can get through a listen without welling up with tears of just how beautiful, honest and relatable this album is.

I was at your concert a few months ago where you played some of the (at the time) unreleased songs and it’s so cool getting to the parts that stood out to me the most in the finished releases. “You keep taking another piece of me, not your problem not my problem” is definitely one of those
I’ve cried my eyes out to this song. It really describes my life, as soon as my bf breaks up w me too. All because I enjoyed his company.

It’s actually kind of distressing for me to listen to this for some reason, but it’s good to know I’m not the only one who feels this way.
I listened to the song again and it’s very depressing and anxiety inducing for me for some reason.
It’s like for me it reflects this journey that I’ve been through where most of my life, contact with other ppl was often very anxiety inducing due to being mistreated in the past or feeling like I’m not good enough but I still cared a lot about my life and about other ppl. Then last year after a string of trying pretty hard and being hurt, I’ve just sort of given up. It’s all too hard. It’s too painful. Too dangerous. To play this game. And I’ve stopped caring for the most part. About people, and life, And myself. Although I don’t know if I’ve ever really managed to care for myself.
It’s very freeing to stop caring. Amd to say I don’t need anyone else. But it’s ultimately very depressing, because by shutting yourself off from your need for connection and love you kill the most meaningful part of your self.
I feel a bit better after writing this though. And of course I don’t fault the artist at all this is amazing work! I’m just going through some stuff and this was a bit too real for me at the moment
saw them on tour recently, they dropped this song on us and taught us to sing along. by far one of the best concert experiences ive had. keep on with the incredible work!
Damn this song couldn't have come at a better time for me. My ex just recently came back into my life and I realized I wasn't as over him as I thought. I barely made new friends, so stuck in the past and hes already moved on with new friends and I realized how pathetic it was of me to be so stuck on something and be the only one still thinking of it. Thanks for this song it really means a lot to me.

I’ll try to explain one thing I’ve learned recently: Ppl like us we often get a bit crazy when it feels like people hate us. And we overreact and can get very distressed even when people might not even hate us at all. It’s understandable and valid to feel this way. It’s probably due to bad experiences you’ve had in the past. Btw fuck those ppl who mistreated you in the past. It’s not right and you deserve so much better. But it’s also important to realize that a lot of the anxiety you have now IS IN YOUR HEAD and fuelled by the past experiences. NOT BY WHATS HAPPENING NOW. And here’s the trick, if you can realize this, and then get the emotional part of your brain to see and accept that, it can calm you down a lot and spare you a lot of distress. Try asking yourself these 4 questions the next time you feel distressed because you think someone thinks badly about you.
1. Is it true that they think badly about me?
2. Can I be absolutely sure that they think badly about me?
3. What does it feel like to believe that they think badly about me?
4. What would it feel like to not believe they think badly about me?
Rest in that feeling, notice huge of a weight it takes off your shoulders, and realize that it’s PERFECTLY REASONABLE to feel this way since you don’t even know how the other people feel about you.
It might sound silly, but I think it’s a useful tool to calm the emotional part of your brain down when you’re in panic mode.
