Of course the minister of tourism will speak in favour of people staying in mud houses, while its a good idea to preserve history , people who can afford a better house shouldnt have to be stuck, thats simply not fair. i bet the minister lives in a fancy non-mud house.
lets uh... not contradict mud housing with ‘good housing’.
Living in the past in order to attract foreigners (tourists), that is bad. Its time people in around the area are allowed to build up and upgrade to concrete structures. We Africans should not be made a pinnacle of tourist attraction.
nice mosque...!
I like the dude at 1:30s hat
The scholars recite Al-Qur'an with beautiful unique african voice ive heard in the other yt channel
OMG...the people live in appalling conditions. They should be allowed to renovate their homes.
They don’t have the money anyways. Its not like the people are rich but are forced to live in mud. They don’t have a choice.
great
kind of reminds me of when i was a kid and i'd poke an ant hill with a bunch of sticks
Amezing
The culture is never endless, like yours with your reason rights for it

Use cement instead of mud
Lord Farquad?
Do not call him as Hech Raja his name only influencing his success. He is getting famous and famous by calling as H Raj .Only eccha kaalai R
Call him hech Sharama .
One day, they will say that this building build by European
Ridiculous. European understand metal working and masonry since ancient time. Why would we use mud? And islam are clearly eastern things.
@@MrSir-zd4bu Christianity is also Eastern in origin, having been founded in the Levant by Jews who branched away from traditional Judaism. Besides, Islam DID spread to parts of Europe, most famously Iberia, meaning that something can be European and Islamic at the same time. Of course, the Mosque of Djenne isn't one of them.
Mr. Sir Africans reaches the Iron Age before Europe
@@wandamaximoff7495 True that. But European know advanced architecture when African still living in a wooden hut. Hagia Sophia was built with buttress nearly thousand years before Mali empire that created this Great mosque even exist.
@@MrSir-zd4bu Hope you are joking, right? African architecture is the oldest of the world. Do you know the real history of the World? Hagia Sophia was built in 6th Century and by that time, African already had more than 26 000 years of civilization.... hello!!! The "White" civilization started around 2800 years ago when the Kemite Pharaohs (ancient Egypt) lost power.
The mosque was built by the French in 1907. It's their own made up style too.
Rivers_of_Blood Marshal you must be out of your minds. When this mosque was built French people were not even aware of it ! French people fund Malians with architecture and crazily rich of . As matter fact French people destroyed a lot in the 1600to1900 in Malians everything
@@nasirben4112 What I said is not even in dispute. Look it up- if regular sources are wrong, then feel free to to to them to correct them if you can.
What you talking about ??? Correct who , French people ?? Forget mate ,. This mosque was built in Malian ways of architecture. There thousands of mosques like this one , but the biggest ones are in Djenne , timbouctu etc ... so don’t even trying to tell people that mosque was built by French people because it ain’t !
Lol now why will christian france build a mosque? 🤔
@@bilaal969 This is not in dispute.
