Unfortunately, as long as people visit the Disney parks they are doing fine. It's been like that for years now. Of course, when you dig a hole and alienate the core audience there will be a delay in lowering the park attendance but it will come at some point. Just not fast enough.

This is standard Hollywood revenue "reporting". Hollywood has been doing creative revenue calculations for 7 decades. You only see the outer edges of when it is not working in their favor. Its the reason why Scarlett Johansson sued them and they settled. The claimed her movie was a failure so they didn't have to pay her a bonus she was promised. They knew the books wouldn't hold up in court and just settled.

I easily spent thousands of dollars a year visiting the parks and watching content now it's OVER!!! F DISNEY and their BS I'm done with it!

HOTD V Acolyte is like comparing rotten apples to freshly picked oranges, there is no contest, if Disney gives this a second season, then they are willfully wasting investors money by pouring good money after bad and investors should be livd with Disney right now, for wasting their money on terrible products, if Disney cannot get their act together, Mattel, Hasbro, they are likely going to simply walk away from anything Disney related, they will weigh the benefits vs the cost and if the cost out weighs the benefits, they are likely to play hardball at the table to get a better deal and if they refuse to the toy company demands as they will hold the power, then Disney will loose out and the shelves of unsold junk will likely get discounted even further if not sent off to the nearest recycling centre to make something more useful from them, like plant pots or plastic storage boxes and then the brand names of Marvel & Star Wars will vanish from the shelves along with much of Disney mech, leaving Disney with very little choice but to pivot back to making good content but even then, they lost a couple of generations of kids in favor of their vanity projects that produced nothing but turds!!

When you put the most important and loved saga/IP in the hands of people who have no talent for bringing the lore and the Magic and most importantly great story telling. Amandala Stenberg has no ability to bring any of this to life on screen. Playing twins with literally no differential characteristics is as bad as it gets. I don’t just blame her. I blame the inept approach that Leslie Headland brings to this project. Can you imagine what a Christopher Nolan original series based on discovering the Sith would have been like. The time and careful nature he would’ve put into creating that universe would likely had been mind blowing. How Disney doesn’t know how important it is to put talented people as the showrunner is absolutely mine numbing in every way possible.
Presumed Innocent is great. Much better than the film. Check it out.

I get that Green Master Asparagus woman is not good. Sol is going to expose her. She killed the Witches. Qimir was her Padawan and tried to stop her. She hit his back with her whip. Aniseya (IMDB shows 3 episodes for her) is there, teams up with Mae and Osha as 'power of many' defeat the Bad Asparagus Woman.
And that's all the fun I'm having with it as my "Care Meter" still reads "Zero".
With Valiant's analysis of the profitability of the sequel trilogy and the post seasons 1&2 of The Mandalorian, the ratings drop for The Acolyte should not be a surprise. Star Wars is not what it once was and future commentary should be based around false notions that Star Wars is a big thing, it isn't and hasn't been for some time now.

The Acolyte could be a great entry point for new Star Wars fans, especially as series creator Leslye Headland has said that the show was not made for hardcore franchise fans but, instead, to be appealing to everyone.
“[Y]ou could definitely watch this series without knowing anything about Star Wars, but if you are a Star Wars fan, you will notice all of the things that we’ve put in there.” Since it is clear Lezzie Headband never intended to make anything for the "Star Wars" fans why did she even make it in the "Star Wars" universe?! Because Disney the evil mega soulless greedy conglomerate company commissioned a tv show for the "Star Wars" universe that would automatically have a built in fan base.
