It's pretty neat lookin! Align has a place in my heart. I spent countless hours as a kid dreaming of owning an old trex 500 that used to hang in my local hobby shop. My first kit was a trex 600 that's been 9 years now. They have came a really long way, excellent flying I am new to your channel and it's taught me a lot already, your ikon setup video is great. I've been out of the hobby for 7 years and just got back in it
Welcome back to the hobby and thank you for watching and supporting the channel. I greatly appreciate it. Align was my first “real” Heli kit. A Trex 450 then 500 and then 600n. I had a bunch of older helicopters but Align was the king in its day. Very happy to see a new updated line up!

Digging the TREX brother.. good price point for these helis. Align knows how to make em....
True statement. Align has great helicopters especially for beginners. Their combos are hard to beat. My beef in the past have been the manuals but the one for the TB 70 is great, especially compared to what I consider the worst, the 650. It would be a good option to leave the FBL systems out of the combo, nothing against the Beastx, (I have several if anyone wants a deal on one😊) but I’m a Futaba guy and a big fan of the CGY 760, which is what I’m running on my TB 70.
They made a great helicopter at a great price. They give you everything you need in the box no guessing on what to purchase or what fits/works. That is what keeps them going. They’re super combo kits, especially for the first time builder that might not know what servos ESC or motor to purchase. They are manuals definitely need work, but there are a lot better on the TB series.

Pretty sure this sets a world record of some kind for maiden flights. I couldn’t have ever flown like that if I practiced for 50 years. 😢😢😢😢
Sure you could! It does take effort but get a sim if you don’t already have one and learn. I dedicated an hour a day if I could for weeks until my thumbs, eyes and brain worked subconsciously. When you’re actually flying the model, work on a single item and master it. CZcams has good instruction videos. The hardest thing for me was just getting the nerve to push that cyclic forward and get moving. Overcome the fear of crashing and have confidence in yourself that you can do it. It is very rewarding when you get better and better each time you fly.
Thank you! But, yes you could! It’s just practice and lots more practice lol learn the basic orientations get that down pat then move onto forward flying and then move onto inverted flying and then start practicing different maneuvers. If you have a simulator, I would recommend practicing for 30 minutes every day you will be amazed how much better you get!

I noticed that the tail Authority and your control of it was very good it looked to me like it was locked in at all times. Do you personally like that model?
Tail authority and performance is fantastic. Best tail performance on any Align model I have ever flown. I do like it a lot! I think it is a fantastic helicopter, a great price point, and happy to see them stepping up to the Times.
Hey Jeff, having issues with my governor on my TB 70. Sees magnet, and engages gov, but it speeds off the charts, motor got hot! Can’t get rescue to work on the IX14, but it did on the DX9, please help, nice flying too. Those head speeds are what I’m after, thanks in advance
OK, governor and rescue are going to be two different issues. So will start with governor, what ESC? Hobbywing 200 or 130? In the Brain/iKon software when you run the motor does it show RPM? Are you sure gear ratio and pluse is right in the software? Are you running stock ESC program or did you change it? Onto Rescue, that is going to be exhilarate three. And the software did you select rescue? Is it showing movement on the radio monitor screen and the software?
@@westhobbiesrc8051 hobbywing 200, stock settings in esc, yes it shows rpm according to the manual ratio 9.38 and 4.83 on the tail ten pole motor, pulse at five. Thanks for quick response
Flys great but beauty is in the eye of the beholder and i have just gone blind,sorry its ugly
I like the look of it, I think the canopy is a little ugly, but the overall design of the helicopter is great. So much better without the tiny, boom and boom supports.
