@@michellea9857 I am all for honoring and venerating the Mother of God. But bowing to a statue made by man is pure idolatry. If you believe that Jesus is the same God who led the Israelite out of Egypt, then it was Jesus who also made it very clear to Moses that we are not to bow down to a graven statue. In fact, He was very mad about it. That's all I am saying.
In the recent times, the Vatican is bringing in or trying to bring another statute (the thing is called pachamama) to the Church used in pagan worship in the guise of the Virgin Mother. I do get the sense that the Catholicism has a idolatrous side which we all try to cover up by redefining things. We just ought to call it for what it is and stop the practice. That's all I am saying.
@@stephenpaulwilson6496 That's fine. I am not about ignoring the Mother of God. But I am against bowing to a statue. Hindus do it all the time and we call it idolatry and that is correct. What do we call it when the Catholics do it?

Nishi Singh Hello Nishi, thank you for asking questions that is very important! Our Lady is very important in all Christians faith even if we don’t notice it! I think your mixing our love for her and mistaking it with worship. Worship is a sacrifice it’s like how we have the holy sacrifice of the mass. We sacrifice ourselves and our wants to live in the way God wants us to, and we sacrifice our worldly desires. Worship is not bowing, is not kissing, is not hand raising, it’s much more. Worship is fully acknowledging that we have a God and He created the universe and is beyond it. A kiss or a hug to a statue cannot be worship but it’s an act of Love! We love the Virgin Mary so much, because Jesus loves her so much and way more than we ever possibly can. I hope this helps and anymore questions please ask!
