Your little brother is optimistic though, he's willing to try to negotiate with the humans in hopes that maybe theyll accept them and unite them as a society. You know better though, you know how close minded humans are. April is the very few exceptions but her defense for yall isnt enough. Your little brother tells you that yall are special, unique and that's what makes yall valid enough to try. You know better than that though...
White butterflies are usually a symbol of peace and purity but it's also known in some cultures that it can also be a omen of death..

I imagine that the ending went like this:
Donnie breaks down crying and Mikey backs up more, not knowing he was dangerously close to the edge and.. he fell, and he did not think quick enough to take out his weapon and in seconds he hit the ground.
Donnie looked up and noticed Mikey was suddenly gone, he looked everywhere then he looked down, and saw blood splattered all over the ground and finally made out the body of his brother.
He dashed down the building's side (safely) and sat next to his brother, sobbing
People crowd around the 2 brothers and start to take pictures, make videos and some even called the police.
April was hanging out with the other turtles in the sewer when she saw a video titled: "Crazy Turtle Incident!"
She called Raph and Leo and they all watched the video:
"Dudes! Guess what this is?" The camera / phone turns to Don and Mikey "These freaky monsters are here! And I think one is hurt!"
After that April immediately shut the video off and started to run out of the sewers with Raph and Leo.
They eventually got to the area and shoved through the crowd, Raph was pretty helpful in that case.
When they got to Donnie they spotted him clutching Mikey close and sobbing, rocking back and forth before he looked up at April, Raph and Leo.
Raph scooped Donnie and Mikey onto his shoulders and ran away, back to the sewers.
Once they got back, Mikey was placed onto a bed and was bandaged up, "He's still alive!" April said with a tone of joy, as Leo turned an almost furious look at Donnie,
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He screamed as Donnie quickly looked up at him, from the doorway he was standing in, "I.." Donnie stuttered, before Leo slapped him across the face, "YOU WERE WITH HIM! YOU HAD TO DO SOMETHING!"
Raph sprang up from next to Mike, and pulled Leo back, before he could do any more damage to Donnie.
Donnie looked back up, covering the part of his face Leo had smacked, and Leo used all of his strength, so they could all see blood trickling down the cheek that was slapped, Donnie's eyes filled with tears as he sprinted as fast as he could out of the sewer as Leo called back out to him, "DON! WAIT!" He yelled before Raph dashed out of the room, after Donnie and as April looked at Leo, irritated
"Why would you do that?!" She asked him, still standing next to Mikey
"I.. I just.." Leo looked at his hand and saw a bit of blood, "It was just my response! I have to protect my brothers!"
"By smacking them?" April asked, as Leo sighed and sat down, "Look I.. I'm not sure why I did it I just overreacted."
April shook her head, but sat next to him as Raph busted back in, "I don't know where he could've went!" He huffed, as April stood up quickly, "Well.. what about the building where it happened?" April asked, "Already checked.." Raph said, tuckered out.
After many minutes of thinking they finally thought of.. the tallest building, he had to be there!
