  • In this rare video footage, Ted Greene gives a guitar lesson covering the beloved jazz standard “Someday My Prince Will Come” by composer Frank Churchill. Video Credits: Cesar Pineda 12/18/96.
Here’s a brief summary of the lesson:
    1. Begins in the key of F
    2. Tries the key of A - too low!
    3. Then the key of D - jazz waltz, add walking bass
    4. Finally ends up in the key of Db - improvisation
Assignment: KNOW the chord names, numbers, and their function. Start in F, then try A and Db.
