We had heard such great things about XCARET and that it was the best thing to do in Cancun (even though it’s just south of Playa Del Carmen) - so naturally we had to go and check it out ourselves! If you are staying in Cancun, Playa Del Carmen or really anywhere along the Riviera Maya you should put Xcaret on your list!
In this video we take you along with us on our FUN-FILLED day through Xcaret eco park. We provide you with a lot of valuable information about Xcaret like how much it costs, the three types of admissions (we went with Xcaret Plus), how to plan your day at Xcaret, what to bring to Xcaret, the best attractions at Xcaret and so much more! Make sure you watch it until the end where we talk about things we might have changed along the way and so you can see the grand finale show, MEXICO Espectacular! It brought tears to my eyes!

Our itinerary for the day:
8:30: Enter & head to the Underground Rivers (Black 6)
10:00: Swim in the Natural Pools end of River (Red 39)
10:30: Walk the green path to snorkel in the inlet (Green 30) Change into dry clothes
11:30: Walk over to Blue Zone and check out the Aquarium (Blue 26) and Archeological ruins (Blue 25)
1 pm: Go see tapir (Black 15) Walk the black route to (Black 4) Time for Lunch at Restaurant Mexicano La Cocina
2:30 pm: Head to the Aviary and Butterfly Pavilion (White 48 & 50) with a stop at the Stained Glass Plaza (White 49)
4:00: Check out the Mexican Village (White 51) and Cemetery (White 46)
4:50: Horse Exhibition (Black Route 3) TIMES MAY DIFFER FOR SHOWS DAY TO DAY - check the board at the entrance!
6:00: Check out the Chapel of Guadalupe (Brown 56) and Museum of Mexican Folk Art (Brown 57) - or -Walk the black route to see the animals and go to the beach for some relaxation before the night show.
7 pm - 9pm Mexico Espectacular More than 300 artists on stage will take you on a journey through the country’s history and its different cultural regions. (Brown Route 60). Arrive early for good seats!

Excellent video! I’m a full time Resident of Mexico and live 5 minutes from xcaret. I’ve visited the spark many times but this year I bought the season pass for unlimited visits. I’m 64 but feel like a kid each time I visit……and yes I cry at the end of the show every time I see it! I have never ever seen a nation of people sooooo proud of their heritage. VIVA MEXICO!

I was at Xcaret a few days ago and we became Xcaret associates. Now we are going back in a few months. I've travel all over the world and this is the best experience I've ever had. It is so beautiful and beyond words!

Hi. I'm wanting to take my parents to that hotel and I'm like 95% sure I will God willing 🙏🏽...some people say they have paid between $600-$850 usd per person..if you don't mind how much did you pay? I would want my parents to be in one room together and me in a separate room, would I pay more since it's just me in one room,never have stayed at an all inclusive so not sure how that works. The price includes free entrances to all of their parks, attractions , and world class food. This is a 5 Diamond Hotel and you will not be sorry. @@briannanesta5267 hey Brianna! The resort probably is but we did not stay there. It was a bit out of our price range though it did look great 👍🏽! We traveled there by collectivo from Cancun where we stay in the town. We bought our tickets online to save some money!

We went from July 7th through the 14th. Stayed at Sandos Carracol, about 45 minutes out of Cancun. Xcaret was a one day trip. It's a beautiful and fun place. Be sure to take plenty of mosquito repellant, they are brutal. I bought mine from Avon, they are sheets and you wipe your body with them. They worked a lot better then sprays.

I was so exited to see a video of yall at xcaret park! For my honeymoon (also our first time out of the usa and first all inclusive) we stayed at hotel xcaret. We were so new and uninformed of this type of resort experience but had an amazing time. We went over by short boat ride on a private little river right from next to our room to xcaret park. We had no idea how to navigate and just didn't have any info. We found NOTHING but an empty theater. We missed so much of this amazing place cuz we had no idea it offered all of these things! Hope to visit the park again in November now that we now what to do and where to go. Mind blown 😅😂

I told Adam I was so glad we planned it and did research because we could have missed so much. The underground rivers are amazing! I actually like the idea of scanning and pose for the camera!
I know it’s a really cool concept. You don’t need to worry about your phone or camera just scan all day long at their photo points and then you can pick what you want!
The camera quality is SOOOO GOOD! Glad I paid for it rather than taking my own selfies
We are heading to the Mayan Riviera in late September and I've always wanted to go to Xcaret. We actually stayed at Hotel Xcaret in 2016 and had admission to this part included - but we didn't take advantage of it and I've been kicking myself about it ever since. Thanks for all of the tips - definitely going to add this to our itinerary for our upcoming trip.

@@TheCountryCollectors I am from Orizaba, Veracruz, not a very touristy place, but if you ask the locals, they can tell you where to go, there are tourist guides there as well, Veracruz is a very large state, we have jungle, beaches, mountains, forests, Google Roca Partida, Catemaco, the Monkey Island, in the Port of Veracruz there are some sand dunes where you can rent some motorbikes to ride , it is fun!! The Perms have a video on these dunes. Thanks again for sharing your experiences with us, I follow you because I live in Los Angeles since 1994 and I miss my country. I have been to many parks and shows all over the world and this was by far the most AMAZING place I have been to! We went last month and the park, food and activities were GREAT but the best part of the experience was the Mexico Espectacular show towards the end of the day! My girlfriend is from Mexico City and she said that everything about the show (dancing, costumes, acting) was spot on and true to the Mexican culture. This show was INCREDIBLE and should not be missed if you experience XCARET park!

This has to be one of the most fun unique experiences in the world! Along with the other X parks! I would highly recommend going to Xplor Fuego! Doing Xplor at night definitely enhances the experience!!

Do you have to pay to get into each park or is it one fee for all parks? I know they’re included if you stay at Hotel Xcaret but if you’re not staying there I’m just wondering if you pay for each park? 🙂
@@retailtherapysession8885 I had to pay individual for each park when I visited but if I remember correctly, discount is applied for multiple parks. Each park was roughly £100 each including food and drinks while inside. Tickets are available for less without the food and drink option.

This is an excellent review! We did half a day here back in 2016 and have been wanting to return. The stalagmites and swim-through caves were our favorite.

We went here as a cruise excursion with our then 3 year old. It was amazing but definitely not enough time when you have to make it back to a ferry to get on your ship. Also not as much info given to us, I didn't know so much was included. Now I must go back when my kids are older for sure!

I was finally able to go to xcaret and followed your guys tips and definitely helped! It is definitely a big park and lots to do, we got there right when they opened and stayed until they closed but even then we missed about half the stuff! Definitely going back soon, thank you country collectors for the great tips and tricks!

Hey Cathy! Thank you! We actually wore our masks a lot, but would take them down or off when filming. It was so loud you just couldn't hear us with them on. We would say about 70% of people wore masks in the park. Not in the rivers or the beach area, but in the other areas we saw them used a lot more. No one was enforcing it except at the restaurants, but they encouraged people to wear them.

Hey Melissa! Thanks so much! I am not sure we haven’t been here in October, but I think the park is always crowded. I actually heard it’s less crowded on Saturdays and Sundays because that is a turn over day for the hotel.. not sure though. You are going to have fun either way! It’s peak summer now and we don’t feel like there are too many people around, but I guess we just expect it to be busy so it doesn’t bother us. We only felt it at the river head, snorkel spot and the buffet but it didn’t take away from our fun! Hope you’re having a good one! 🙂

Wow! Pricey but I can definitely see why. My condo will be in Puerto Morelos and its kinda right in the middle of Cancun and Playa Del Catman. Not too bad of a location I believe. I can go to Cancun and to Xcaret over and over again! Lol. There is so much to do in that area! I loved the snorkeling scene in this video and the beautiful river.I have actually never heard of Xcaret. I definitely will be going now! Thanks for sharing.
Yes it is pricey, but worth it! We weren't going to go but decided to for our anniversary ! It was a special occasion. I think that is probably the best location - away from the business of the two cities but still close to all the happenings! It's been around since 1990 too - and this was the first I have heard of it too, on this trip! Def check it out - thanks for watching!

We recently returned from this resort, we booked an all exclusive stay in the VIP area with three butlers!
Loved our suite!
We had three other couples in our party, everyone stayed in their own room. It was perfect, low crowds, we had our private pool, went on a couple of excursions! It was magical, we celebrated a special birthday!
We didn't venture out of the resort, we went there exclusively to play and relax. Not our first time in Cancun, have stayed at another 5 five 🌟 resort. Children are not allowed in our area. The staff and the service was outstanding!
We stayed four nights which was perfect! We travel extensively, last month we attended a wedding in Cabo, we had a blast!
This trip to Cancun won't be our last, there's truly lots too see.

Xcaret is super amazing!!!! I agree with Adam, I love how they preserved so much of the nature elements! If you guys ever have time, the Xplor park is also SUPER cool- more rides/ interactive and they have super cool underground rivers too!
