Absolutely loved how she modified the song to fit the song to her voice right now, without having to force it to fit the highs she could do while younger. She’s such a brilliant musician

Nah, she can still 100% hit those high notes. Just didn't want to take many risks in this cover.
She's comfortable singing that way. Still sounds amazing. She's has nothing to prove. She did it in the past singing that hard. Now she can enjoy singing her music the way she wants ❤

When she sang "seems just like yesterday" with her now more mature voice (still more beautiful than ever) it really hit me. Time really flies.

I loved watching the band when they did the Metallica song the other day They were fully in. I will continually be amazed by Jason and the fact that he somehow is tied to her brain because she can get emotional and stop for a second and he stops and the second her voice opens again he's back I find it incredibly impressive. There's Jaco I don't even know how to spell his name for real but I don't know the drummer's name. But she's one of the few musicians that I know of that we know Jesse Jason Jaco and whoever the drummer is she gives them so much credit

The drummer was playing like his life depended on it. I appreciate the sentiment about growing old with Kelly, I am about her age and have enjoyed hearing and watching her perform since she started in American Idol. To this day, I have yet to meet another singer that comes close.

This is not exactly an evolution of the song, she took it a bit on the safe side. Her voice has changed, so she already sings it in a lower key, but she didn't go for any of the spectacular high notes that made the song what it is.
Don't get me wrong, she has done amazing things until very recently, but for some odd reason this wasn't done to the best of her abilities, despite the band going completely crazy on it.
