I was a teacher for 5 years. I would see some of my younger kids going onto CZcams only to go down a rabbit hole and find some of these videos. Lots of flashing imagery, chaotic music, and a normalization of undesirable behavior is often depicted. It creeped me out and gave me this weird feeling in my stomach. It just felt evil.
Shit gets evil when real children are involved. The sickest stuff got taken down (I think) & I can only imagine that there are adult men jacking off to it or at least get something out of it.

The idea is that all those random tags in the video titles make it pop up after actual normal videos kids watch (like that finger family thing)
But after those videos start coming up, they begin linking to even creepier stuff that is in no way even aimed at children. Like some real grotesque, macabre, deepweb stuff.
It's never really "deep web stuff" though, at least not what I'd seen when I first started digging in this rabbit hole. (I forgot to logout of my main and totally screwed my feed during that dive). However it definitely is "inappropriate for kids". There's some where it's either cartoons, live action or claymation acting out things from movies--- I saw one where "baby elsa take wrong medicine" and it was essentially an infantilized re-enactment of the overdose scene from Pulp Fiction. At the time I thought it was hilarious but it's definitely something much weirder.

There are no apps, no daycare centers, no extracurricular activities etc. capable of supplementing the cognitive and emotional value of leisure, both physical and intellectual, with one's family, friends and close community.
Your kids don't need ipads or video games. They need for you to take them to library, to the museum, to go hiking with you, to read stories with you, maybe start a garden for instance. Heck! They need to play... with you! And not just with the educator or the babysitter, but specifically with you!
Do not underestimate the significance and how meaningful these seemingly banal activities are to your child's development. They are necessary, nay, YOU ( mum and dad ) are necessary to their development, and well-being.

My kids used to watch this stuff once in a while during media time. Now I feel like a real shitty parent for not monitoring it more closely sooner than I did.
Honestly, I’d just have them watch shows that came out before I was born and I ended up watching as a kid. Wishbone is real educational and a good show, I would recommend that one most. Then of course, the obvious being Sesame Street. But I guess it depends how old they are, Wishbone would be good for kids even up to 12 years of age. But at least you’re more aware, kids shouldn’t be on the internet, unless it’s for school, especially now a days.

1. Curate your own set of kids videos onto a playlist on CZcams (SciShow Kids is a good one) or download those better videos onto their phones/tablets
2. Get a Netflix account
3. Place on kids mode for netflix
4. Get them a video game. Least they'll have to think a little when they have to play those licensed games.

I didn’t realize how much trauma this inflicted on me as a child. When I was around five or six I watched the injection videos and they made me have some weird fetish and fear over needles. I also was very interested in pregnancy because of these videos, and as a child, I thought you had to be strapped forcefully down to give birth. Those videos really messed up my way of thinking as a kid and I have just recently gotten over my fear of needles only because they exaggerate the pain in kids shows/videos.
And the reason I found really disturbing sxual content was because I searched up Elsa giving birth. this stuff was promoted to a LITERAL 5 YEAR OLD that’s when I had to have “the talk” with my parents. that was so much I had to go through

What should piss people off even more is that CZcams allow this shit to be monetized and flourish, but someone showing 5 second clip of a movie during a review, reading horror stories or talking about horror, or a few seconds of a song gets copyright struck and/or monetized/channel taken down
Children emulate what they see. They are designed to learn by watching and listening and then acting out what they see. There was a case of small children killing their baby brother after watching their parents domination porn and then acting out what they saw. Adults are also affected by what they see and hear repeatedly or singly if traumatic, which is why PTSD and porn addiction are a real thing. These videos are intelligently designed to traumatize children by designing sick situations and imagery, and then optimizing it with keywords for children to easily stumble upon.

Two years ago when I was in the ninth grade (14-15 years old for you non-Americans), I met up with my second cousin for a New Year's Eve party. This kid (I'll call him Caleb for privacy reasons) was 6 years old when I met him. I don't know what kind of media Caleb watched, but I remember he took a bunch of old baby dolls , positioned them so their heads were in a door frame, and smacked the door against their heads. Caleb kept saying he was "killing" the babies. And he thought this was funny. Now, I had terrible anger issues from the ages of 8 to 11 and would cuss, scream, pulled out a knife one time, and once yelled so loud that someone called the cops. I can say, though I saw traumatic things on CZcams when I was little (I was born in 2004), it was _never_ to the scale of the saturated mush on CZcams "Kids."
Caleb was 6 and laughing about killing babies. These kids are becoming more desensitized to horror the younger they get, and I think the exposure to shit like ElsaGate is a huge part of that. I'm shocked, *as a teenager,* that parents are giving their kids free reign to CZcams. Parents, I beg you, don't let your kids use CZcams without permission. Put on a movie, read them some Judy Moody or something. Just don't trust CZcams Kids.

I was born in 2000. I've tried to tell parents not to give their kids these devices. They're so clueless but to be fair they haven't experienced the internet as closely as we have growing up.
I would rather just give my kids normal youtube. I would rather see them watching commentary videos of actually entertaining content rather than seeing them watch poorly animated child pornography on an app meant specifically for children. In matter of fact, I think I'll just buy them some duplo and legos, and put a little playground in my backyard instead, like any normal parent would do *instead* of giving an expensive tablet to their four year old son and installing youtube kids and letting them watch softcore child porn. Whilst the use of iconic characters such as Spiderman and Elsa may have initially been intended to draw the kids in, I feel as though they may also use these characters to trick unsuspecting parents that what their kids are watching is family friendly. If they glance at their screens for a second and see Spiderman and Elsa as opposed to random older people, the parents are less likely to be alarmed.

I have had CZcams on my Xbox for my son while I have been doing house related work, so he can watch some educational stuff and a few times, things pop up. Luckily i'm in the room so I can keep an eye, but it was shocking the first time I saw that coming on for kids.

I'm not at home all the time, dude, I can't monitor him all the time. And my parents are very stubborn people and its extremely hard to convince them to do something different in long term.
They got used to facing their TVs or phones for hours at home since a very long time ago, they don't have any healthy outdoor hobbies and they even have little to no enthusiasm to it when they got exposed to these outdoor hobbies. All they know is work, watching TV/phones and they don't want to be bothered when they are doing these things.
All I know is when my brother started sniffing strangers' butts in public, and also doing that to me when I came home once for a while, things are getting out of control, I knew he learnt it from watching Elsa Spiderman fart videos.
Introducing Pokemon or other cartoons to him didn't work either, since there are less shock factor than current Elsa cancer and there's always some sick version, Elsa-cancer-like version of it. Like Jimmy neutron pizza youtube poop videos, everything is not working. He can search it easily from the recommendation and in his opinion, Elsa-cancer version is better than canon version.
I'm getting home less and less frequent now, I cannot influence much now. The only thing I can do is scar him mentally when I found out he's watching these vids, make him thought I can track him down like God and always be afraid of my wraith when he's about to watch these again. So far so good, he really thinks I can track him down like a God now, and I found out he's been watching real educational videos now. But sometimes he'll watch these cancer again, when the time is ripe for him.
