    Nasir Jones, better known as Nas, is an American rapper and actor. He is also the son of Jazz musician Olu Dara. Nas is known as one of the best Hip Hop artists of all time.
    In his Blues for Smoke interview, Nas talks about the importance of the Blues themes that emerge in his album, Life is Good. He also reflects on the talent that was Amy Winehouse and discusses his collaboration with Winehouse for the song "Cherry Wine" from the Life is Good album.

    Great interview...wish it could have been longer. Nas music part of our therapy growing up...and helped us through a lot of melancholy moments.

    Album with its crazy bars is classic - should have gotten album of the year with 18 nominations, where Drake didn't have none! It makes you wonder is Baby still paying off the insiders like the source revealed back in the 90's. Drake's album is not even close to Nas's lyricism or substance matter! Can't wait for the new album Nas!
