Since the Ryzen 4000 announcement I did hundreds of hours of research. I know every single laptop on this list and watched and read many reviews and experiences from different reviewers. In fact I watched every single video on your channels about them and I can say you did an amazing job. This video is a summary from someone who has actually a lot of experience and takes into consideration even the smallest aspects after testing everything in person. Congratulations, Jarrod. You did a fantastic job and deserve way more subscribers and viewers than you currently have. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!
I have no doubt he'll blow up as long as he maintains his consistency, especially as many persons are going to be jumping into laptop gaming during the whole stay at home situation. The only thing is though that most pc gamers go for full on desktops so if he starts including those kinds of videos then he'll be fully on his way.
Either way, Jarrod is the best at what he does. No other laptop reviewer comes close.
Well what did you buy?
That's the dedication,lol
Exactly man! Jarrod deserves more.. he is the GOAT of reviewing laptops đ„

I was so tempted by that one, but it seems I will wait until next year as I really want 1440p on my 15 inch laptops and it seems that next year we will finally get powerful 1440p 15 inch offerings. This year was definitely a turnaround year though and without my particular needs on resolution, I would have bought either that Legion or the Omen.

Great comparison video Jarrod! Thanks a lot.
Something I've noticed in comparison between the omen and rp-15, the screen refresh rate on the omen is kind of high at an average of 8-10 ms where the RP-15 reportedly has one of 2-4 ms, which I wish I noticed before I settled on the omen.

Great work man! Very informative and thorough!
Hey Jarrod
My Grandpa just gifted me Asus a17
I'm so much happy as I was desperately waiting for it
Honestly You're the best tech ( particularly Laptop ) reviewer on youtube . I trust your opinion and I know the trust isn't misplaced . I've watched so many videos about these laptops and there are many things that I find out for the first time after I watch your videos . other than the fact that you collect even the smallest information when making videos ; It's the way that you present the information that tie the whole thing together . If I hadn't have seen your reviews and the performance comparison graphs you use ; I'd have never known that the legion 5 1660-ti is more capable than the g14 2060 and would have gone with g14 and probably been disappointed . So the bottom line is thank you ; I love the videos â„
Glad I could help!
@@JarrodsTech Hey . do you have any information about legion 5 with ryzen 5 4600h and 2060 ? It's a very rare configuration as far as I've seen and I can't find any reviews of it but it has the best value in my region and my budget . I believe it's an india only config and was imported to my country ( Iran ). Because there were no detailed reviews from trusted reviewers I dont even know how good is the bettery life and I heard from seller's website that it has a 140hz display . I mean is that even possible ? I also can't find any information about color accuracy or the response time of the panel . I'd appreciate any tips or information you have .
Thank you! This is what I needed!
I watched your video for the first time. Nice Work, I appreciate the effort you put in testing the laptops and making such nice videos.

Thank you! Just got Legion 5 last month and it performed well! Thanks for your review, from Vietnam with love!
looking forward to the next gen zen 3 reviews. Thanks for the video.
Your content is so on point and detailed.
And no bullshit and drama too. Great work đ
Thanks to your reviews I settled with the IdeaPad Gaming 3, I bought it before black friday but that's because I already got it at a cheap price of 800⏠(tech is more expensive here in Europe) where as other laptops with comparable specs were about 950âŹ, Black friday deals brought them down to 800, so I haven't really made a loss. I bought it with my first ever salary I got from work.
I am glad to see it being Number 7 on the list, above the Nitro and the A15. You said you don't think the premium is worth the upgrades you get over the Nitro 5, but here in Europe things are different. The Nitro 5 has 8GB of RAM while the Gaming 3 has 16, right of repair doesn't exist in Europe and RAM upgrades will void your warranty. Added to that, the Nitro 5 and the Gaming 3 both cost the same at 800⏠here, so it's definetely a no-brainer which one of the two to get.
I once again want to thank you for your reviews, you have been a great help in the past few weeks!
Yeah fair enough, if it's the same price then the Lenovo is the better option for sure. No problem!
