A possible reason why your manuscript was tagged as plagiarism is the percentage of citations of your reference materials. Though you've referenced & cited them properly, yet the amount of citations are much higher than your personal words. I remembered it while doing our thesis /research during high school & college that reference citation must not be higher than 25% of the total manuscript you made.

I've been in coursehero since Nov 2020, it's good for freelancing but when there's summer or spring break, definitely no students at all.. I passed studypool but I can't have students, it is okay if you want to upload study notes or pass exams

I think you need to try the plagiarism checker because mostly, that's what we do when we submit our papers even if we properly cited it.

My most favorite work in freelancing is non-voice, although there's a huge difference from email/chat support to a copywriter. Thanks for sharing this Victoria I wish I learn transcribing when I was just starting in my freelancing world too.

@@angelicareyes920 you don't need to be fluent. You can find clients with basic English. My wife chose to be a graphic designer because she doesn't want to talk a lot in English.

I think when citing sources, you're not gonna simply copy paste it, rather you'll paraphrase them with your own words so that it won't be reported as plagiarized when applying for studypool.

You went wrong in studypool, because if you cite an iinformation you have to rewrite the details but the information is still intact. Just like creating the chapter 2 in research you have to rewrite the related studies/literature but the idea is still the same and there is the source in the end.
Just curious sir, what's the difference between rewriting and revising?

You mentioned about the “plagiarism” in your manuscript. Just to share my experience with plagiarism. The information or the phrase that you cited should be well paraphrased, however, names that is widely known such as government agencies can sometimes be detected and highlighted as plagiarism and there’s no other way to paraphrase a name of a government agency 😅. I think it also depends on the standard percentage of plagiarism that the company is allowing for the applicant’s manuscripts. In university, they allowed us to no more than 20% plagiarism.

I got accepted in studypool and actually all 3 manuscripts ko ay tig-1 page lang with just around 1-2 resources only. I just started and it's kinda hard to get clients since some are topics for masters degree and I'm still a college undergrad.

Hi I have a question regarding the salary of a freelancer. Is it taxed in the Philippines or in the country the client belongs to?
it is hard to apply in studypool because they want your answers to be original which is you cannot copy other information eventhough you put the references.
They are scam, don't even try. They will ask for your photo holding your ID which can be use for cunsumer data selling.

They only use the photo for verification because some applicants use other IDs to pass the credentials. I'm making a living in that site. 'Yong iba hindi nakakapasa kasi masyado ng maraming tutors sa site similar to CourseHero na sobrang hirap na rin makapasok.
