Bit different to the usual stuff, I had it lying around and figured I may as well upload it. Still working on more Total War vids, but I also have a few more clips like this I can upload in the meantime if you guys want it.
Wow, I had no idea you were a fellow Insurgency fan as well... a man of taste, it appears, indulging in quality FPS games. Actually, I felt like this was quite a nice break from your usual vids! Total War and Insurgency mashup episode perhaps, as ridiculous as that sounds? Haha (If this also helps, I've also had an idea for a 'how to play the Ebdanians' vid - Stronghold 3's 'Pints A Flowin' OST, four-leaf clovers, clapping, Irish dancing, drinking, and fighting Saxons. That is all :p) Peace and love
Thanks man, glad you liked it! At some point I want to try playing a Celtic faction and converting to Judaism (since the Jewish temples go so well with their infrastructure), so I might try playing the Ebdanians when I do that. Only problem is I have no idea how to use javelin troops; I find they always get caught in melee due to the short range. Any advice on how to use them properly?
Celtic factions and Judaism? I never considered that the said religion would benefit the faction group so much - my suggestion was entirely based off the fact that the Ebdanians are ancestors to the modern Irish :p As for the javelin troop usage, I'm not entirely sure, actually! I'd probably mix them with melee troops, screen them with the super-cheap Celtic bows to take care of any pesky skirmishers that may want to target them. Then get a volley off on a heavy infantry line, retreat, (hopefully you have spears to dissuade cav charges) bait some charges with cheap melee infantry or get the main engagement going, to leave the enemy's flanks/rear exposed to your javelin troops. The point is to inflict as many casualties as possible before the engagement starts, then use some more volleys to rout the other units off the field, hopefully repositioning your javelinmen behind enemy lines. If caught in melee, some javelin units can actually still fire by giving a click attack order, and will most likely hold their own anyway! And I'm sure you'll be able to get some out-of-the-box tactics with Guerilla deployment too ;) I realise I'm just scratching the surface though, and entirely out of my experiences with Levis Armaturae/Matiarii. Hope this helps and I'm happy to offer more advice where I can!
Weird looking total war video right there
You can tell it’s a tactical game when you can put a suppressor on an LMG
its actually an EBR, its supposed to be a sniper rifle but it has a full auto mode as well lol
@@beyondthelol Killfeed identified it as an M249
@@beyondthelol M14s don't feed from belts or have a hinged top cover for loading.
