I played this for the lady that is my caregiver. She's my caregiver because I have a terminal / chronic illness and since I can't see well. She wasn't the sick one in the hospital I was and we didn't know if I was going to go to heaven soon because I was really sick and wasn't getting better at the time. She had never heard this song before because we would always play Lebanese music on my oud. She used to be a nurse in Lebanon but now she's retired and she is my full-time caregiver. People ask her why don't you just completely retire and she always says that he needs a caregiver more than you know and I want to be that person for him. What I played this song and sang it to her she knew exactly what I was getting at. The nurse that we knew really well instantly knew why I was playing it for her and as she was giving me my IV meds she started to tear up as well as my caregiver. When I finished my caregiver choked up and gave me probably the biggest hug ever well in tears and she said " habibi how could I ever forget you? You are probibly one of if not the best person I have ever met and had the privilege to take care of. When i hear an oud being played in our church or in our community you will be the first person I will think of" one line that stuck out the her in the song was ill hold you in my arms again or something like that. And something that she did for me but I will never forget was this. The nurse that we knew well that was taking care of me at the time helped her get setup and my caregiver held me in her arms.

@@lemen9358 I go through illness and hardship every day. . Before every IV at night every feeding. And before we get me set up on my breathing machine. My caregiver and I always get our instruments out and just start playing.. When I was feeling healthier. A couple days ago. We played a little Lebanese Community festival at our church.

My dad passed away in 2017. He was my best friend and I miss him dearly. I just got engaged and unfortunately, since he is no longer here, i can't have a dance with my dad at my wedding. So instead, im going to ask all the father's and daughters to have a dance in honor of him. If it is alright, id love to use this rendition. Its so beautiful and perfect ❤
