I binge watching the entire series! The thing i enjoy most is watching you fix the small things everyone else would skip! By the time you are finished you can park this thing in water and it'll be fine 😅
Thanks very much for watching!
Top work, just finished making new spring mounts and rebuilding the rear arches on our fourtrak. Looking forward to the next episode.
yes he's cracking on with the Trak!
As always, great work.
I was wondering where Pt11 was then realized I finally caught up haha.
This motor sure is going to be better than factory. Great work so far and looking forward to Pt11
You are indeed up to date for now! Working on getting P11 in the can soon, it’s just a case of fitting the restoration in between day to day business and stock work!
Totally under-subscribed channel. Hopefully it'll blow up soon 👍🏻
Cheers Kennie!
Brilliant job as always, I am still wanting to buy it when finished 🙂
Thanks! Once finished It’s likely going to be the best one available for sale so if I were to sell it, it’s probably going to be a tad on the expensive side!
Fantastic to see an update! I binge-watched all the previous episodes and have been eagerly awaiting another episode. 😂 Great watch, keep up the amazing work! ✌🏻
Thanks for checking it out!
Looking great, mate
Real labor of love this one... At least its not a cheese grater anymore.
We’re getting there!
Phenomenal. I can't believe just how rotten the old girl was and how much dedication you've had to resurrecting it. I guess that's what salted roads does to a vehicle, thank God that's not an issue here in Aus.
@@tim0e Yeh I’ve bought, fixed and sold dozens of Fourtraks over the years, some really bad ones too and this was by far the worst example I’ve ever seen. I have questioned my own sanity several times during this restoration…I guess I’m just a sucker for punishment! Still, she’s well on the way to becoming what I expect to be the best one in the country 🤞🏼🤞🏼
@@JohnnyGetsCash Absolutely, a very fine example now and much better than factory. From one Daihard fan to another, thank you for saving it 😉👍
Wow!!! Waiting for next episode
Yes johny another awesome video 👍👍👍
Yoh will have one of the best
Great job as standard. Always enjoy watching your content on whatever vehicle is in the workshop. You go the extra mile to ensure every vehicle has had the “Johnny Gets Cash” treatment before if is offered up for sale.
Thanks very much for watching, I’m glad you enjoy what I do!
Nice work. Coming together nicely.
Cheers Bob, still a long way to go but getting closer every week!
As always bro stunning work, and great content ❤
I remember Daihatsu in Gran Turismo 5
Great work mate, it will be better than new.
It’s been a long road and still a way to go but it’ll get there!
Top work
Excellent job Johnny as always, excited to see the next episode(s)! 👌🏻🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks mint 😁
It'll get a lot more exciting in the next episode!
@@JohnnyGetsCash thats great!
Great series Johnny, I have just found it and binge watched it all! You are making me really miss my Fourtrak that I sold last year, its arches were in the same rusty condition. Can't wait to see the finished product!
I see the other blue/green Fourtrak in the background of some of your videos, have you done work to that one also?
Thanks for watching! It's slow progress on the Fourtrak as it has been a bit of a 'one step forward, two steps back' kind of restoration, but i am absolutely determined to drag this thing back to life so we'll get there! The other Fourtrak you see in the background isn't one I restored - it has been through the hands of another 'restorer' in the past but i personally don't think the quality of the work is all that so i've had to do a few bits to it to keep it roadworthy. I will give it a once over soon, re-MOT it and likely sell it on as its not doing much here!
@@JohnnyGetsCash If it has the same calibre of work done to it I would be interested!
Nice work as usual 👍 what mig welder do you use? Do you use gas with it? 👍
Cheers. I use a Sealey Mightymig and I use a CO2 Argon mix 👍
I'm really excited to see it go back together. 😄
Are you going to put some new stickers on it like the original ones or any else?
I’m planning on ditching the original graphics (3D gel stickers on the riviera) and either replacing them with the original ’mountain’ style fourtrak graphics, or potentially a custom set with a unique spin 👍
@@JohnnyGetsCash Uh, sounds nice. 👌
Do you use a sheet metal folder or do you just shape it as you put it on?
I fold and beat everything by hand
What rust converter did you use??
I use Hydrate-80 by Bilthamber
@@JohnnyGetsCash thanks Johnny.
What do you think of hammer right kurust. Is it effective?
So at what point is a car not worth restoring? Rust wise
To be honest, a sane person would have deemed this one un-savable. It really comes down to the restorers ability and willingness to go the extra mile. For example if a car was ultra rare, then there is pretty much no line. That’s worth restoring whatever the case, if it’s an old fourtrak that’s eaten alive by rust, it’s probably not…unless like me you are like a dog with a bone 😂
@@JohnnyGetsCash yeah alright, I have a pretty rusty (pretty rusty is a bit of an understatement) Daihatsu Rocky F80RV, which I will probably just turn into a farm run around and try learn some skills fixing it.
🤪 Promo`SM
been waiting for another episode on this it has had me itching with anticipation and an at long last another episode now dont get me wrong I know you've had other work to get on with etc etc I 'am just really excited about this project especially seeing you revive the floor in this Fourtrak to better than original condition wish I could do this to my car you should advertise this as a service full rot cut out weld seal and respray those that love their cars would line up around the block seeing the quality of your work you'd have to limit it to 25 vehicles a year just to be able to have the time but their are levels in this game and you're on god tier brilliant work honestly wish I had the inside space to work on my car like this I would never stop doing bits by the time I finished I would have a car that would survive the apocalypse like this Fourtrak sweet af please keep at it because once it's done you're not going to need to do a damn thing for a while though setting up shelves with spares such as brake lines pads rotors wipers all the usual replacements would mean having the ultimate serviceable spec out there okay now I'm rambling keep up the amazing work thank you for the content peace
great work pity about your environmental impact (free spraying ) in an uncontrolled unfiltered garage space open to the air .
