"even if can't be seen - it has to be clean" has more purpose than just clean. dirt and moisture is one of the biggest reasons for rusting. cleaning will help.
I just like make things as good as they can possibly be and if that means going a few extra miles, then so be it!
I thought that dirty whould create a protective layer in the paint, now I have to find another excuse to don’t clean my vehicle…

I usually try and avoid cars that have been sat that long even with relatively low milage like this one. Things tend to die when a car sits unused...

I had a Honda Civic that was same shape with the lovely B18C engine in it. It was Pirates Black, factory pain black but in sunshine turned a metallic deep purple. It was a wonderful colour. God do I miss it. 😥 Nice job on the MG. Not overly keen on the K series engine though, good engine but has it's head gasket weakness. Easily remedied with a good quality gasket and head bolts.
I know the car you mean exactly. A friend of mine had one with a turbo kit on it a few years ago…absolutely incredible car!

Mate that's the cleanest ZS in the world, still not convinced about the roof lining but I would still have it. Knowing your work I would get anything from you. If I came to see a car, it would be just thak the money.

Honestly bloody amazing work as per usual respect the hell out of you for the effort into every intricate detail love the quick clean up of backing plates and arms with a quick paint job lovely preventative measure for the future did mine over again last summer will probably touch them up this time as well really gets me in the mood to crack on with some mechanics when watching your videos thinking of getting into a classic soon no tax no mot will have to be 40 years old minimum and a nice clean look suppose it depends on your tastes just a quick question what would you go for money being tight 1k to 4k??

Be interested to see the breakdown of cost. Did you do the interior re trim or did someone come and do that?
I do everything myself (including re-trimming). The only thing that this car was sent out for was a new timing belt and water pump 👍

Love everything you did to this car except for the headliner fabric choice. In video it looks a bit like a blanket or a senior lady’s turtleneck.
