Emily Sisson’s performance at the New Haven 20k just makes her more likely to win. It was hot, humid and the way she dropped Ednah Kurgat was just remarkable. It’s going to be tight at the top but Emily just has something else when it comes to grinding

Right before this video I just watched an interview with one of the competitors and how they feel "stronger than ever, 110%" and here you guys are squashing them back to reality exposing the mind games.

CJ would be great to watch in Paris- the hills are all between 15-32K. 29-32k is a big downhill leading into a flat last 10k finish.

Molly scratched? She's been injured for more or less 3yrs straight. You really gotta question the coaching if you can't get your athlete & S.O. healthy after 3yrs.

Some people are just much more injury prone than others. I wouldn't question the coach too much when she won a olympic bronze medal under him.

@@matthewwalker7886 But that's the WHOLE POINT. Yeah, some ppl are more injury prone. No doubt. But as a coach it's your job to figure out WHY and then take corrective steps! Is my athlete nutrition deficient making them injury prone? Let's consult a Registered Sports Dietitian and do some testing. Are they sleep deprived? Let's adjust personal priorities. Do they have fundamental strength issues? Let's develop a cross training and lifting regime to develop core & lower body strength to PREVENT future injuries! Do they have mechanical issues? Ok let's consult a sports medicine specialist... maybe the issue can be resolved thru strength training, or biomechanical changes, or shoes/orthotics? Maybe we need to consult a specialist like a sports medicine podiatrist or orthopedist? Yeah, some injuries are NOTORIOUSLY slow healing, soft tissue injuries in particular. And some are fairly straight forward to treat & rehab, like fractures and stress reactions. But 3yrs is a huge amount of time for management to identify & address problem areas. It's sorta their job.
