What happens to someone who is dealing with chronic stress and anxiety? How can hormones affect our neural functioning? Why Do Some People Feel Suicidal? What is the situation when people reach a point of insanity & depression? Why is there an enormous rise in mental health issues? All this and more are answered in the episode.
Siddharth Warrier is an expert neurologist who runs his own podcast and CZcams channel from the ABCs of neuroscience to the most complex phenomenon. Subscribe here: / siddharthwarrier

Every podcast of urs feels like , 'I like this more than the last one !!! ' Thanks for this treasure bro❤️
Longer podcasts allows us to listen to guests more. Thus the main purpose of the podcast is served. Thank you 😊
Do you allow astrologer guests? I know you are into astrology too.
Please please Ranveer bring on more content on mental health.
Thank you for providing us quality content.
Lots of love from Gujarat
Don't worry about the algorithm buddy. Keep getting smart people who add value to your listener's lives and eventually you'll get the rewards. People listen to Joe Rogan's 3hr+ podcasts as well, so this is completely palatable and even desirable for that sort of listener. Thanks for the good work 🙏
“Observe but don’t absorb” this is one thing my guru has thought me. Empathy is great but try to let it not affect your ownself.
True. I feel sometimes being empathetic is a virtue as well as a weakness. I find it hard to strike a balance between when and when not be empathetic.
True,.. I have come to this conclusions after years of suffering..
For me being overly empathetic is so much stressful. Like people around me don't give 2 fucks and here I am just thinking there must be some reason why they are like this or why they behave like this.Sometimes it feels like I am just cheating myself by not seeing someone as they are 🙂

Dr Sid , rejecting & explaining almost each layman thought which Ranveer put across makes me realise how important it is to have a doctor with such clarity of thought

Hello Ranveer Allahbadia
@BeerBiceps,
I'm regularly follow you.
If you love Hindu Dharma, You should make a separate video/interview on @आचार्य प्रशान्त - Acharya Prashant to introduce his teachings and the real meaning of Dharma and make him help in his mission and his ongoing events "Advaita mahotsav Rishikesh".
You have already made videos with Guru Gopal Das and many others. Now it's time to talk with Acharya ji and help him to share his mission. It would be your most eye opening/learning video for both you and us.
This would be most blessings for your fans if you introduce acharya ji with us.
You never fail to surprise us Ranveer! Honestly, I've never been so influenced (in a really good way) by anything else. You know, i previously disliked physics because of the way it's taught in schools. But after binge watching your content, I've truly fallen in love with learning and your wonderful personality. So knowledgeable. Worthy watching. Thank you so much for providing us with such top class premium content that too for not even a dime. Rise and shine 🙌
💯💯
Exactly! Our schools only teaches us to mug up things and act like a robot, our society needs to get awareness regarding these things and learn to let go of useless things
@@sol_princeyt7833 i totally agree! Honestly, if you use it for knowledge then youtube is literally more educational than our whole education system
Just imagine a teacher like Sid sir who will teach you a toughest subject
Ranveer, you won my heart today with the statement about a person suffering all their life and then suffering more as a consequence of Alzheimer's!
There is a silver lining though they will most likely not remember their own suffering.
Every single podcast is an "experience" in it's own! So much to know..Its like.."The more I know, the more I know I know not"!
You are doing a great job for the coming generation, yur podcasts are very inspiring and informative......thanks bro😊💚
This person knows how clearly to put forward his thoughts, amazing maturity, thankyou Ranveer for bringing such people to us.
This is a gem….. people are missing a lot by not seeing this podcast…….
What a combination of mind and spirituality
I do agree because of attention spans of millennials short 45 minutes podcasts will get more impressions but the current format of ~90 minutes are like a educational marterclass for me, which I absolutely love. I really hope in the near future people start seeing the benefit of long form education contents.
Thanks for the lovely episode TRS team and Dr. Sid, I eagerly wait for Tuesday, Friday & Saturday night to listen to TRS, so much that it has become part of my routine.
This comment made my day ♥️
✨💫👍
@@BeerBiceps love you brother

The part where you talked about depression was so relatable to me . It felt like someone was describing my experience. Thank you for this mind opening conversation!
Sid so calm and speaks itna softly brain gets it more that way grateful to Ranveer that he brought such a good and knowledgeable human on show and we could know it
You are a deep kid with huge emotional pool, I am also a Gynae like your mom,
Even I have a son who is deep & intense like you Ranveer,
I love your podcasts & learn soooooo much from it.
Love you Beta, keep doing this, such thoughtful podcasts are definitely required for all age groups
These days i am enjoying myself watching ranveer shows so relaxed in my couch with a huge bucket full of popcorn and i never get bored.. 😊😍
Beautiful, this was probably a conversation between two conscious souls. God bless both of you with immense knowledge.
Dr. Sid warriar is just amazing!!
Need every doctor to have such an incredible sense of making people understand their brains & related problems ..instead of just prescribing meds
My mom was browsing through her phone when I was watching this podcast... She has studied psychology and has been in depression for some part of her life.... Meaning she has studied and experienced almost all the topics covered in this podcast....Apparently she was listening, and after the podcast, she said one sentence, "खुप सुंदर बोलतो आहे. " Which means "He's speaking very very beautifully" in Marathi.
Even I was amazed while watching this podcast, thanks a million for such beautiful content you bring forward ❤❤
“Everyone has a god they just call it by different names.” 💛
Being a OCD patient i love this podcast. Every single word that sid sir spoke about gave me goosebumps. I am still on SRI'S ( Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors ) to increase my serotonin level.
Just wanted to say that mental health is waay more dangerous than physical health, you are in constant fear 24/7 and the worst part is you'll not find the right doctor who will guide you so that you can live your life normally. Still searching a good doctor so that i can live calmly.
If you think someone in your family or in your surrounding is going through this horrible stuffs than please try to treat them nicely and keep them happy and take them to a good psychiatrist if you can.
brother now let me tell you one thing! I have been through the worst phrase of my life! but i can definitely say i have made it the best doctor is in with in you.. mind tells you a lot of stories which are never going to be true.. i m following ranveer for 10-12 months now .. please accept my one challenge for you.. Number.1 meditation, number -2 journalising, number 3- clean food and water and raw juice only.. number 4- intense workout/ yoga.. number 5- be with your loved ones
And ab mai kaafi logo ki help karne lag gaya hu and thoda tough hoga par impossible nhi h
@@shykid9948 I'm also suffering from ocd🙂Yes its too hard to fight with you only(your mental health only)
Don't depend on medicines. Instead, find a good master and start meditation, you will be okay within 3 months, i guarantee
I too have ocd India is a lot of ocd patients
Meditation, cold shower, good sleep, deep breathing, blowing air out through mouth 5 times per hour to move to parasympathetic level.
Ranveer did it again. A phenomenal podcast with an equilibrium of both positive and negative energies which blossoms beautifully. Hats off to you bro for the hard work you and your teams put into.
Bro, Loved this Podcast!!
My mother is Schizophrenic, & I know how bad is this mental illness, this not only affects the patient but also the people around them. But she is improving and cured, she is being cured by medicines. So, whoever reading this comment guys please take care of the people around you. You never know, from which thing the people are suffering from? Always loved your podcasts.

Hey. I have a doubt. What actually happens to her? When did this develop? And what were the early signs. It would be very helpful if you answer. Because Im having some symptoms of schizophrenia.

Need more series of Neuroscience with SidWarrier❤
Dr. Sid is really a interesting person to have a conversation . Looking forward for more podcast in future with Dr. Sir Warrier .
Dr Sid's calm energy and vibe>>>
He’s such a great listener - all ears for what Ranveer has to say, genuinely interested, empathetic and not to mention so insightful.
Made me think multiple times that the host should stop blowing his own trumpet and let the guest speak. The host goes off about himself and his events. Why not do an episode about himself and get it out of the system.
I was thinking this too. This is what a conversation look like. It should be two way street.
Thank you Dr Sid for clearing the myth on drug prescription for every health problem, because people who have a holistic approach towards diseases are perceived as someone who lacks knowledge or "expertise" to treat their patients, rather than understanding what would really work.
So does the Serotonin.been given externally helps fr such crowds..@balance level to maintain.. kindly explain in much detail fr tht group of serotonins decreasedlevels..ad how it will help fr such population(health/communityeducation..in thiese matter.,👆👏🧡@sid_warrier(doctor).
Mind blowing man, what should I say, I'm stunned after listening such a deep podcast, this guy Dr. Sid is amazing.
With every podcast of yours , I feel like there's so much more to learn and unlearn the things that don't serve a human being or me in that matter. There is so much enlightenment in your podcasts Ranveer, being a 24 year old I feel, the future generations are blessed to have the raw and life-changing content you put out there. You're a true visionary not for your team and yourself but for the youth and generations to come. Would love to have a friend like you in my life, just admire how far you've come in life. Ps. I'm one of the OGs of BeerBiceps. Lots of love, blessings and healing to you. 🌸
Ranveer you can't imagine how much your podcasts help me in my life .. it's like learning a new lesson through each new podcast.
You have great streams of knowledge
Want more contents further ✌🏻
Thank you so much Ranveer
Yes, same with me
Oh my holy God. This is one of the most insightful podcasts I've come across about human relationships and the relationship we have with ourselves. Have been listening to your podcasts for a while now but listening to this my soul is screaming this is the stuff I want to hear more about. Such a simplified podcast. Love it.
I can't even imagine how overwhelming it could be for you sometimes. The point where you said we listeners have time 15 weeks time to listen to these podcasts, however you are doing this podcasts consecutively for 30 days. I don't know but it made me emotional like Wow! Trust me you're doing great!!!!!
"Oh wow...this was one of the synchronicities at it's very best...The mention of Conversations with God, was one of the very first books that I had read before I got out of an emotionally and mentally claustrophobic marriage...I had called it the light to my soul, had even shared it with someone I love dearly....
And then the mention of playing the game--as you and not as Siddharth, brought back my own personal mini conversation with God..where in my head I had this particular conversation with Krishna (of Bhagwadgita), while driving on my way to my work place, and I kind of felt his presence in the seat besides me, smiling cockily...and I said, "What. What makes you smile like that?" and the reply came "You, everything...". I was quite and he asked, "You don't really like me, do you?"...to which I replied, "Well, you are very Chalu"....and pat came the reply, again with that cocky smile. "Ok, Mein chalu hoon, is liye shayad duniya chalu hain"...to which I enquired, "Toh are you saying ki Chalu logo ko wajah se yeh duniya chalu hain ?"; and he said, "Shayad, par kuch toh chalu rehna zaroori hain...tum kya soochti ho is ka haaq tumhara hain aur us sooch ko bhi badalnae ya nahi badalnae ka haaq tumhara hain...".
Thinking on that I asked, "Toh Buddha kaun ?"...the answer came with one of the best smiles ever, "Buddh woh jis ko yeh game khelna aa gaya, infinity ke liye".
I'm so so delighted to hear words like:-
SPECTRUM, NUANCES...and the reinforcement of the fact that most of us are stuck in Black and White thinking...for firstly it's easier and secondly we've also been educated/programmed to think like that.
WOW...so profound...that everything negative has a positive side and every positive has a negative..."I personally call it as Counter-balancing forces, which actually makes everything Whole, Integrated and Complete".
Love you talking about Yoga Nidra.
Would someday love to interact with Dr.Sid Warrior.
Thank you for this conversation 😊
As a sapiosexual person I just realised that I am in love with Dr Sid Warrior. I have seen all his content online especially the Depression episode with Tanmay Bhatt. I am on antidepressants as my brain doesn’t produce the serotonin as it should. I have seen the lowest low when I was not functional but that one little ray of hope are reaching out to psychiatrist have helped me. I have immense respect for life and only one ray of light is enough to pull yourself from the darkness. Now I am doing better. But yes the way Dr Sid approaches things is just amazing. Lots of love ❤
Ranveer: for as young as you are…. I love your maturity and sensibilities. You have practical and useful energy. Love it
It's insane how much clarity he has on things he talk about. Please do more podcasts with him.
Keep it as raw and longer, just like you said it’s the real diamond and real wisdom.
Loving the way my interest is changing towards podcasts and especially the podcast on your channel . Previously I used to get excited for new episodes of various web series..Now the thing that gets my nerves filled with enthusiasm are the new episodes of your podcast .
Dr sid is an awesome person to listen to. I have learned so much about Neuroscience including anatomy of the brain and disorders after following him for last year or so. Ranveer asks very relevant questions and tries to cover a lot of topics without going astray
Im watching this aftr 2 yrs😮... how life wd hv changed since then.. Brilliant podcast.. 👍 both are amazing.. It is rather a communion of two people that spread kind of wibe in all who had watched this.. Betr late than nvr. I chance happened to watch this.. 👍
Thanks for this content.I have recently developed a new habit of learning new things and your concept of speaking on different topics gives me a lot of knowledge and increases my focus .I won't even watch a single movie in one instance but am watching yours more than an hour episode .It means its worth it and have some knowledge .Keep creating more content like this .Your New supporter Mohit Keshwani from London.
Great conversation. Thanks to you both for putting out so much knowledge. It just boosted my serotonin levels😅.This sessions especially with Dr. Sid are like directions for one's own pathway. It's like talking to more mature friends & taking pieces out of their story as advice.....just like learning from other's experiences. Also this long podcast is good to hear for its unrestricted, natural flow & feels like complete conversation. Best wishes😀👍.
One of the best conversation I have heard for self awareness! It has been beautifully put how the chemicals and hormones of our brain represent our personality and behavior.
Only when you try to change yourself you realise how difficult it is to do so. After that you would never ever try to change or have unrealistic expectations from anyone. Understand the person and accept him or her. That's it! That will give you ultimate peace.
It was so so so amazing. I was already a fan of your show, but today I realised your vision towards life is so amazing and the pain that you take to share your thoughtful insights with us is so heartwarming. Thankyou so much for this. Lol ❤️
Blessings to you both Dr. Sid and Ranveer. Your intentions are clear. Your podcasts are extremely interesting and educative.
It's awesome.... enhanced my heart and brain with full purity and I really Love it!! keeping going bhaiyaa...

❤️❤️❤️
Ranveer. I have gone through many of your videos over the past few months. This conversation has been the one that has blown my mind most. I need to listen again and may be once again more to digest.. Thank you both for bringing this to us
I totally love the longer versions of your podcasts. I listen to them while I'm gymming and I actually look forward to gym not only because of the adrenaline rush that I get post working out my body, but also because I know that I am gonna listen to something that's going to give some workout to my brain as well.
Gr8 episode. Brain has always been a centre of research since a very long time because that single thing makes you who you are as a person. The whole body reacts to your thinking and just obeys the super master which has the ability to perceive everything the way it wants and not the way it is presented in the world. You get to choose. Last part of the episode was great. I loved what you both discussed. Honest heart to heart conversation. I don't understand the hardware much but the software part of it is something which is difficult for any human being to understand. Cute ❤❤❤
okay so is there anyone who made notes while listening ? cus' this had hella knowledge . i can't believe I sat and listened it all he way through. Really thankful to Ranveer for bringing this to us. You are doing amazing !
I did 💁
I have stopped the video at 53:41 just to type this msg.
What an intelligent conversation this is!!!
This man is so politely kickass with his knowledge. More power to you Doctor.
And Ranveer! What do i say about you? I envy you and praise you to be equally intelligent, asking these questions and listening them so patiently.

thanks to both 🙂
You and your whole team is precious. Watching your podcast has changed my way of thinking and I got so much to learn from every single podcast. For me, the long podcasts don't matter, what matters is the knowledge I get.
More power to you and your team.
I'm a doctor too and I completely agree on his statement on how holistic approach towards medicine is needed n would be the future
Please add the part about benefits of taking ""COLD SHOWERS"" is it okay to take cold showers in winters in the next PODCAST.
Btw always amazing content from your side .
Thanks for everything .
Of course, this podcast is GREAT! But man this Dr’s voice is so damn calming… imagine having him as your professor ♥️🧿
I have seen many of your podcasts and I love the longer versions. It’s a different learning experience and I’ve never felt that any episode needed editing. Keep up the good work!
Your podcasts are amazing, dear Ranveer. Most of your guests are just as clever and interesting as you are! loving this particular one. Sidharth is super sane! India will be an amazing place with people like you living there.
Loved it...!!!! Absolutely enjoyed watching this and felt so good to know things about your own brain & that too by this man totally loved him.... Need more podcast with him
Wow! Loved this procast Ranveer bhai! Got some answers, got some clarity and inspiration as well. Would love to see these long form of content in the future. ❤🔥
Very very insightful..thank you both, God bless.
Great quality of Dr.Warrior is he explains the complex topic of neurology in a very simple language.Till the end he holds your attention to the topic. Thanks Sir ,Ranveer & the team .
Ranveer please make a podcast on *How being in depression, anxiety or stress for a long period of time basically not taking care of your mental health can hamper your brain from inside* .... i believe if youngsters get to know about the effects we all would be more conscious of taking care of our mental health as much as of our physical health.
Interesting podcast loved it.
A longer podcast keeps us on 1 topic for a long time.
Bring more podcasts from Dr Sid Warrier.
It is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 conversation in chill winter ☃️☃️☃️⛄⛄

Your content are worth the time, also every time i listen to a new podcast i get a realisation of how so many different people are there with so many different perspectives. And everytime i hear different perspective , it helps me in my own growth as i get a new vision on that same topic with a different perspective
Of course, the longer versions of podcasts, and thank you for all the positivity. Keep creating brother! ❤️✌️
Podcast with Sid Warrier is always exciting and so knowledgeable
Thankyouuuu so much Ranveer and your team. You really make extraordinary podcasts. I am usually not a fan of long CZcams videos but I cannot stop watching your podcasts. You come up with such intellectual and interesting people around the world and listening to their perception of life is soo incredible. I hope you grow till the sky (and me too, working really hard on my Ph.D.) but please please don't stop making such videos.
Oh my God!!!!!! My mind is on another level after watching this episode. And yes please keep these long form contents. I didn't realise I have been watching this for an hour and a half. It was only in the end when you said if we would like 45 mins long or longer ones like this. Just love love your work 💙💙
Ranveer you are absolutely awesome!😍Love majority of your podcasts that I’ve watched so far. But this one has to be one of my favourite.
I’ve come to love and respect you as a person through your content as I feel it reflects the genuineness which is at the core of each content. I think you have immense intensity and great level of maturity which reflects in your work.
I love watching the content you and your team create. Keep creating more awesomeness as the world needs it and keeps some of us going. ❤ 🤗 Ranveer keep on rocking!! 🤩
This was profound, simple, informative and interesting Ranveer, wish you more love and more light always. ❤️
Dr. Sid Warrier is just... Ah-mazing. His analogies for explaining things is just outstanding!
The longer episodes helps us tell a story, life lesson, it opens the mind. Heal a lot of things. I appreciate . More deep and more heart to heart

This podcast is damn awesome..
Man ur doing a great job...
And the process ur going thru is information overload...
Sadly we r living in such an environment where more information matters
I can hear this kind of podcast for hours . I wish it never ended . Great work Ranveer and Dr Sid
Finished watching this podcast just now & OMG Ranveer, You are just Improving with every single episode !! Keep it up. I've watched the other 2 episodes with Dr. Sid & I'm lacking words to appreciate him. He's making neurology so much interesting & simplified for all of us. I actually never thought it would turn out so interesting. Thank you so much for all the amazing, powerpacked episodes.
Also, I would love the podcasts to be long & deep, as you said it's like reading a Book. So, it's fun when an interesting book (like Dr. Sid) lasts longer.
Whenever there's a longer episode... That's where's the main context perceives upon that topic..
And talking about neuroscience requires time to make sense to an individual.
Le ranveer bhaiya- podcast bhi hogaya aur counseling bhi 🔥❤️😂
This and the earlier episode with sid warrier helped me introspect things i have conveniently ignored my entire life. cheers. More power to you. THANKS.
The length is fine. If someone is busy they can always listen to part of it and come back.
The continuity of your conversation is important.
The longer version podcasts are the best in terms of knowledge.
Thank you for this value you gave to me 😊😊😇
Amazing, Please Keep it long and interesting. My top 3 favorite guests on TRS are:
1. Luke Coutinho

Loved this one - had to listen in 3 times to absorb it all. Dr Sid is so knowledgeable & down to earth - never interrupts Ranveer, even when he gets a bit carried away
maannn..I love you yr,the way you speak out ur insecurities and self doubt that's commendable...like hats off to u man.
I can't resist myself pause the podcast nd write it down in comments
In the beginning, the way sid was sitting, I thought he would have little egoistic types husky voice, but it was bit shocking how it came out too soft, cool and calm. He was too nice during the whole podcast!
BTW great podcast with lots of information!
Watch his previous podcast too.
Long Podcasts give a continuity and lingers on for a whole good time.
Keep the longer podcasts like this Ranvir, it changed my life, my relationships with everyone around me, my perspective towards life, my life goals. You are doing wonderful job and sorry for being selfish in my comment, but all the podcasts you done feels so personal to me, thanks a lot Ranvir.
