I started the show for the lesbians? I DID.
I continued because of her. I mean, everything about Lauren since episode 1 make me love her, much longer before I knew she was bisexual (but well there are quotes since day 1 that tell you that she is queer) but I am happy they explored, and her settlement in some how is her love for Leyra BUT she is so co-dependient.... You can not just lie to your partner and commit illegal actions to keep her around!!!!!!
Ofc there will be drama in S4....

One of the reasons I watch the show is because of her. I really love her character a lot. 🌸 This is amazing, you edited it in such an awesome way.

Seriously, fantastic edit! Her character has such depth--and honestly, it seemed a tad "shallow" before when it was just a drug/sloppy life type situation, but it really shows how deep it goes giving her a major love interest and fluff and happiness and then threatening to take it away and having her collapse back into old habits. That addicts don't just struggle with substances, but the feeling of control and forcing some sort of balance in extreme ways. Most stories don't take it that far when that's really the core of addiction, so I'm REALLY excited to see how season 4 plays out. Because she clearly has more work to do and it's going to be hella dramatic getting her to the point of realizing that. But they will! And I feel like Leyla will be her endgame, even if she disappears for a while in between
I agree with you in all. And yes, Lauren addiction/issue is not just pills, her codependiency is huge... Cant wait for s4
I see how the things she ended up doing could how being an addict works but I really do hope they arent making Leyla one of her addictions. That would be so devastating.

Lauren went to Iggy when she recognized her behavior was going in that direction-(changing Lauren’s schedule), so she’s very aware now and making efforts to change that. I must say, I definitely think the subject of the “bribe” will come up, but I don’t think that it will destroy their relationship. There will be consequences, and Layla may end up leaving, but I do believe these two are a right fit for one other. There is a deep connection, understanding and love between these two, something that I don’t think either of them have felt with anyone before. We still don’t know all of Leyla’s backstory, and it will be interesting to see if the writer explore it? Lesbian fleeing from a country that forbids that lifestyle. Arranged marriages and requirement for woman to marry early…I’m sure she has a story. The chemistry between these two characters is just beautiful. You can feel their intimacy, the force is strong between these two, not to mention the sex 🔥. I really hope they develop their relationship further and not another lesbian death scene. 🤞

I start New Amsterdam because of Janet Mongtomery that i follow since Merlin and Freema because of Doctor Who. I fell in love with Lauren since the pilot and she grow so much in three seasons, she's definitly co dependant but i think this will be a big part of her storyline in season 4.
She battle agains her addictions, she even get a better relationship with his mom so i think she really need to deal with that to finally being fully happy !
This is such a perfect tribut !
Janet is a good reason to watch anything but Bloom is just AWESOME
