There's a 47Fountain in Sweden with trip 1350s. Two rear one forward but that boat really hauls the mail with 4050hp!! Last I heard it was running 120-125. They're testing now and want to hit 150. Not sure they'll make that number but they're trying.
I believe that's Luca Fendi's boat, or at least it was his boat at that time. New twin turbo Merc 1350s have come out since then, and you can even get the race spec 1650s if you want to pay for 110-116 octane fuel. I myself would rather have turbines. Diesel is a lot cheaper than race fuel.
Wow - Talk about giving the finger to climate change is real Prius drivers. The engine bay in this boat looks incredible. I am guessing an oil change requires 60 quarts of oil. I need to start a business & get myself one of these.

@Raptorboy1316 I would say 115-120 but it might be faster. I think with the new Merc 1350s it will run 135+. Also notice the triple engine config is reversed. It's normally one forward and two back. What that does is change the CG-Center of Gravity-of the boat, which usually means the fuel tank(s) have to be moved rearward.
I like the engine placement I would think the boat would be better balanced with two engines forward. This is not the only Marauder I've seen like that. Luca Fendi's boat has the same configuration. How about trip 1350s and Merc also offers its 1650 racing engines to the public now.
@dieseldog00 ya the twin 1350s push it to mid 120s. Hard to get Cigarettes rigged with anything but Mercury Racing. Thats all they will package them with from the factory. Would have to order the hull and rig yourself aftermarket
@KMT15 Well with twin 1350s there will be considerable weight savings, probly close to 1500lbs so I think 120-125. I think the better twin pkg would be either the new Sterling or Chief 1700+ twin turbo motors with shaft drives. You would get close to 135 with that. Or turbines if reliability is a concern. As long as you keep salt out of turbines they will run forever.

@KMT15 If you can live with a smaller boat, the 42' STATEMENT V ran 135 with twin 1075s and should run close to 150 with Merc 1350s.
