They are twin turbo 4 valve engines. You run staggered motors to keep the drives close together, it makes a huge impact on top speed and keeps cavitation down in turns.
You don't have a choice but to run staggered in this boat
@Arthur West Well, you could, I mean you can shoe horn them in there side by side, but why would you? Another advantage is to get some weight going forward. You probably know this, but too much weight in the very back can create an annoying porpoise effect.

When you spend almost a million on boat or a jet/helicopter , fuel cost is the last of your concern , the maintenance /service/storage costs are way more expensive than fuel
105 Knots = 116 miles per hour. That was about my clocked speed at 75/80 quarter mile race track driving a 1985-1/2 Buick Grand National somewhere around 1989.

The Mercury engines are NOT “supercharged” with twin “turbines”! They are in fact, twin turbo 1350HP...

@@danielwhyzmuzis7165 The water cooled exhaust turbine scroll, compressor scroll and waste gate actuator are shown at 1:34, it is no doubt turbocharged. Centrifugal superchargers do look similar to the compressor side of a turbocharger because its the same mechanism but mechanically driven however this is not that.
I believe he also traduced the displacement of the engine wrongly, or is it really 2 72 liters engines? I can't believe a 72 liters engine is that small

My best friend's father has a cigarette AMG just like that one. I just don't see how he could afford that big thing. And they're not snobs, they're Normal poor/wealthy looking people like the rest of us. But they have more than lots of money. I've rode it one time and that thing's insane AF. Full speed, the turbine is my favorite part about it going fast. Sounding like a McLaren on steroids.
