Off-road motorcycle boots meet go-anywhere ADV functionality with the Alpinestars Corozal Adventure Drystar Boots. Constructed of a polyurethane coated leather outer with additional suede leather in prime grip areas, the Corozal Drystar boots are a rugged, durable boot that is as ready for the adventures of the day as are you. Additional features include internal TPU reinforcement plates and bio-mechanical lateral flexi-blade systems for great range of motion while still providing a high level of defenses. From the innovative buckle closure system to the extensive research that went into the design and production of the boots themselves, the Alpinestars Corozal Drystar boots are an Adventure boot for the most ardent of riders. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
I HAVE PAIR OF THESE BOOTS, LOVE THEM. i also like the fact that you talk quickly. Gives me time to get the info and move on. Thumbs up
This guy could sell a rock.
I would trust this boot. Toucan saved my shin from shattering after my recent crash. I have no doubt the Toucan saved my leg...for this price point I still see great protection where it counts. LOVE AP boots and thanks Anthony for another useful review.
Love Anthony's to the point reviews
Thanks for showing the sole flex.
This is a great pair of boots !
these are gonna be my next dishwashing boots for work lol
I guess I can just ‘thumbs up’ after I ordered a pair in 2023 without having them on my feet yet.. let’s hope the reviews were honest 😅🇵🇱
Hi! You have them right? Were the reviews true? Thanks!
@@salvadormacedo475 hi..nope. Since there were delivery issues that gave me some more time to read about different brands, I ended up having Sidi adventure 2.. now after almost 8k km in BDR and Polish TET riding I have no complaints.
How stiff is the sole? Can you stand on the pegs without your feet getting tired after awhile?
What they like for sizes are they a good fit or tight/bit bigger etc?
I just got a set of these in brown color , all new to riding and boots but I didnt get destructions with my boots as they were display ones , how do you adjust the buckles on these please like do I loosen them right off do them up then poke n push them somehow sorry like I said totally new to riding first bike and gear for over 30 year's so any help would be sweet 👍
Great job! Learned some terms and lingo! Voice speed or pace works for me....
How do these compare to the Forma Adventure boots?
What is the feel like on the pegs and shifter/brake feel? Are they as clumsy as MX boots?
Hi Anthony, Looking at buying these. What are they like in terms of flexibility compared to the A* Monofuse boots ? Would the Corozal boots be ok for Road Riding ? BTW I ride a KTM 690 SMC ;)
+KTM.A*B The Corozals offer similarly good up-and-down foot/ankle flexibility, but the Corozals provide better protection against ankle twisting and impact. The Corozals do have a slightly taller toe box, though, so you'll likely need to adjust your shift lever position on your bike. They're also good for on-road use, as they aren't overly bulky. -DrewZilla
Hey guys! What‘s your verdict on the corozal compared to the sidi adventure 2 gtx? For which one would you go?
I am thinking either the corozal or the toucan.
My concern regarding corozal is the waterproofness.
As you know toucan is Goretex, how does the Drystar membrane (of the corozal) stand against Goretex?
+George Dimou The Drystar membrane is waterproof like Gore-Tex, but Gore-Tex offers a bit more breathability. You pay a premium to get that extra bit of breathability as well as the waterproof guarantee for the life of the boots. The Drystar boots have a one (1) year warranty. -DrewZilla
Interesting to mention the Tech 7 as a step up in the offroad direction. Doesn't the Tech 7 have softer toes and more flexing sideways resulting in less protection regardless of the two additional buckles compared to the Corozal?
The Tech 7 has an additional lateral bracing system to protect the ankle, harder TPU protection and reinforced impact areas to help absorb more hits on the trails. The Tech 7 does offer a bit more flex than the Corozal, but not because it’s softer but because more engineering has gone into it since it’s for active, more aggressive riding. The Corozal is great for ADV and has comfort for all day riding, while the Tech 7 is the most trusted off road boot by most Alpinestars racers and riders.
I want to use these boots for both offroad, on road and even riding my HD. My question is it possible to put jeans over the boots or are they too large?
+Jonathan Lachapelle Your jeans would need to have wide legs. Most jeans won't fit over the boots. -DrewZilla
hi, how good is this boots to ride an atv? is easy to shift gears? I'm gonna have good ankle movement?
They're very protective for ATV riding, and there is decent ankle flexibility, but there isn't as much flexibility as ankle-height ATV boots. Personally, I would prefer to wear these more protective boots than the shorter boots. -DrewZilla (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-corozal-adventure-drystar-boots)
question> just how much is goretex better than drystar from 1 to 10 when it comes to breathability and waterproof, as I like both boots and do not know is it worth to pay extra if these have all I need. How breathable are drystar?
A bit late but in case you're still interested fortnine has a video on that; search up Is Gore-Tex Worth It? Waterproof Comparison Test
Every manufacturer that uses Goretex has to pay a fee to Goretex.
There are better waterproof types than Gortex per tests on CZcams. Gortex simply was one of the 1st years ago, cornered the market and has done great marketing.
how this compared to the forma adventure in terms of protection ?
The Corozal Boots offer a bit better protection as well as more ankle flexibility than the Forma Adventure Boots. As they are similar in price, I'd go for these Alpinestars boots personally. -DrewZilla
thanks for the tips
And how about forma Terra evo X? I bought those but for me they have not enough ankle torsion support. Are Corozals ok in that Matter?
How comfortable is walking around off the bike in these? Is it doable? Thanks
Yes, I actually find them quite comfortable off the bike, as the hinged ankle allows enough flexibility for walking around. -DrewZilla (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-corozal-adventure-drystar-boots)
I have 19" calves and wear a size 11... Will these boots seal around my calf as intended? Thanks!
I measured a size 11, and 19 inch calves should still seal. It's right on the edge though. Any bigger and they probably wouldn't. -DrewZilla
@@RevZilla right on. Thanks for the reply! I've read these run a size or so small. Do you figure the 12's would offer a little more room in the calf area?
Yes, size 12s will offer just a bit more room. -DrewZilla
I Have flat foot so will it be good for me Please Do Reply
I generally recommend replacing the insoles on these boots with something tailored to your specific foot. -TeamZilla Chris
What about Rukka trousers fitting over the top of these boots?
It depends which Rukka trousers you're wearing. If they're regular over the boot Rukka trousers, they should fit over these boots just fine. -DrewZilla

Hey guys! How this compare to the Icon Raiden DKR Boots, in terms of protection and flexibility?
These Corozal Boots have more protection than the Raiden DKR Boots and are just as flexible. -DrewZilla (www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-corozal-adventure-drystar-boots)
I end up buying the Corozal with you guys on Monday :P Now I know I made the right decision! Thanks
No one here or in the reviews on revzilla has actually rode these in the rain yet, and only a few have even been in puddles. Anyone had these exposed to water for more than an hour? I would say they need to keep a foot dry in constant rain riding for at least an hour to really be waterproof. Less then that is just splash proof.
I've commuted in a different pair of Alpinestars boots with their Drystar membrane in snow and rain and never had any issues with the waterproofing. But, the top of the boot does need to be covered by a waterproof pant so water doesn't seep in the top. That said, if waterproofing is a serious concern, we always recommend going with a Gore-Tex option as the waterproofing is guaranteed for the life of the boot beyond any warranty from the manufacturer. -TeamZilla AJ
RevZilla That's helpful thanks for the feedback. How long in one go did you ride in the rain? I'm trying not spend the money for gore-tex and get a little more protection than a touring boot since I do ride in the woods periodically. This boot seems like just the ticket and I'm excited to see more manufactures building a boot in this segment.
RevZilla The toucan would be the Gore-Tex step up from this boot in the alpine star offerings right?
Riding in the rain for me is generally commuting, so probably between 30 minutes and an hour. The Toucan would be the next step up in an Adventure-style boot, and is Gore-Tex as well. If you plan on being in heavy rain for extended periods of time, honesty Gore-Tex is worth every penny. -TeamZilla AJ
i have one of this, i love them .. but prepare for a lot of clicking sound
I wish they would make these for wider feet. It's hell trying to find a good wide boot of adventure touring.
alpinestars fits pretty wide fam try them at your local dealer
My only worry is they look too narrow for my wide feet.
