IMHO, Ryder shouldn't have died in the first place or let alone betrayed CJ and the Grove. There was really no real in-lore reason for him to do so (especially given his missions actually helped both CJ and Grove Street in contrast to Big Smoke's ones, where it was mostly about selfishly enriching himself or getting CJ to get him out of deep shit with the other gangs).

Great job! I completed San Andreas Definitive Edition a few months ago. Even though many of the gameplay mechanics feel pretty bad now, the story is still an absolute masterpiece. What an adventure. And the world feels so big, even though it is so small. This will always be my favorite game of all time. Maybe one day, many years from now, San Andreas will get a proper remake. A guy can dream.
San Andreas has one unique feature that no other GTA had (except 2D era) - three cities, and each of those cities has its unique feel. Even though GTA V is a lot bigger, it's basically LS with countryside. San Andreas feels like three GTAs in one

Even though Las Venturas was by far the most boring location, it still had a lot of good missions and that classic mafia atmosphere.
