Hope you’re well John 😊 would be great to see more great content if or when you’re ready. Lots of love for you from your viewers ☺️👍
It’s been a year and no response. Hope he is well.
@@stoffmiesterfr I’m waiting for a comeback
Such a great video. This is one of the most criminally underrated channels IMO
Couldn’t agree more!
Nice of Captain Birdseye to share his expertise with us
I'm still wondering what happened. You were the foodbusker, you wanted to get on with the food truck and you were great but now that you haven't uploaded, it feels a bit sad. I hope you return man. I actually watched your videos and loved it. Much love from India.
I do miss the Food Busker content. Some of my favorite on here, both as a chef and a fan. John doesn't appear to be online in any format now, including Twitter/Instagram etc. I hope you are all good, man!
I came to say the same. Longtime fan. Hope he’s doing well
Nathan turning into his final form. Father Christmas
Didn’t recognise him in the thumbnail!
Where have you gone mate?!
Hey John - I hope you're well and In a good place man. Sad not to see you about, but I'm sure it's for a good reason. Keep happy and have a good Xmas + New Year! 🙏🏼
Killer editing. I'll always love Busker but it's like the show has grown up. Plus I dig Nathan. Super humble talent.
Great vid as always John, but have to say, the landscape and cinematography on this one are incredible.
Someone lent him a drone I reckon
Haven't been looking at food videos for a long time, but now back with a fresh look I can say yours are so amazing and well put together that you easily rival top TV shows. Hoping the quietness on this channel is because good things are happening to you. Can't say I'm not a little worried, but if karma is even remotely real you should be doing amazing. Hope to see more from you soon!
Locality celebrated - and cooked wonderfully. Great example of what cooking should be!
The care and thought that goes into the process bespeaks Chef Nathan's gift. John, the editing on this video is also very well done. Brother, you impress the hell out of me!
Great to see you back on top form, the JQ we have missed for so long. It has been a tough 18 months for a lot of us, but you are back to bringing sunshine and optimism to us all. Stay strong my brother, we will continue to increase the peace with you as our inspriration.
Such a shame you stopped uploading - love your content. Hope you’re all good man
I have to agree that the chips are often overlooked in fish and chips.
Thanks hate when they’re underdone
the thing I couldn't get over was how chill Nathan Outlaw was for a Michelin star chef. Just cruisin' making good food. Nice one JQ
John, I really loved this video! Great to see you back.
Hope you're well John! Happy new year and I do hope you come back to YT someday!
Bravo JQ. Two legends working together and what a powerful outcome. Love your work bud.
Amazing cooking by Nathan. Great take on trad fish & chips. Hats off to Callum for his dedication to sustainable fishing.
Good to see you again JQ, great vid again💪🏻
Great stuff John, keep up the good work. Love the videos.
Great video, love how the channel evolved over the years
Miss ya, John.
Really nice to see you back!
Miss your videos so much. Hope you are well. Cheers!
That looked amazing, and fishing lobster like that has a future.
Beautiful! I love to hear about sustainable fishing.
Just found this channel. Fantastic videos.
Great chefs collaborating. Really fun to watch. Agree with the other comments - fantastic production quality. You are quite a talent.
Legendary. Thank you gents.
Mate, you should be doing new videos again. It's really been a pleasure watching your content✌️.
great to see you back fella
Lush!!! Chef, another banger! Keep the peace
Great video, he is incredibly knowledgable
'Giving it some love' you talking about all food. Nice one JQ.
And a proper sized portion as well, looks fantastic.
Bloody lovely, and a great idea for the chips
This was visually pleasing to watch
wow, excellent .
We miss you John hope everything is well
His instagram is still active
Where’ve you gone, John?
That looks amazing
please come back sir! your content was unbelievably good
JQ you’re the best, much love from Louisiana 😃😃
Awsome episode
Thanks From Australia.
Loved this John where else did you go in Cornwall? Padstow?
That looked outrageous
Yet another reason to visit Port Isaac one day. Greetings from Seattle, USA. 😎👍
When he gave him the plate, he looked like a child with a plate of cookies soo soo happy😊
Fish & chips is not really a thing over here in Belgium…..but it should 👌👊
great description of the lobster and chips - able to convey what it tasted like without sounding clichéd (looking at you umami). Or at least I think you did!
Have you stopped making videos now
Enjoyed that chef 🤘
very interesting.
Ah mate, that chili jam is gold.
Haywood cider is right near where I live, love that place, had some great nachos and live music there recently
Damn I’m missing John’s videos. Hope all is well pal👍🏻
Oh. MY. Never thought of chipping Jacket Potato.
Game changer
I miss you buddy
Such an amazing video, is the potato baked whole then fried?
Sir John!!! Where are you, and how have you and your family been? You just came to mind and I really do miss seeing your videos. I wish you a wonderful Fall- hope you all are safe and sound. I eagerily look forward to your next video being posted. 😊🌻
Miss you John
Sustainable seafood is always a better choice. That looks very tasty. Cheers, Chef John! #IncreaseThePeace ✌️
Miss your videos. You’re a great personality and hope you’re doing well
Great
Peace level: Effin increased 👌🏻 I’m not the chef here, but if you don’t want your fried wedges blackened, I microwave the potatoes before slicing with a serrated knife for maximum roughness before frying 🤫
Hope your doing well mate, happy Xmas
That looks amazing. On your way back home, check out the salt and malt in Chew Valley. Mstar chef Josh Eggleston is part owner, and you won't find a better haddock and chips with garden peas and tartar sauce anywhere. Sat on the bank of the reservoir eating out of a box which has no grease marks when you've finished it. Heaven
You’d better look at the recent reviews on trip adviser before wasting fuel going there
Nice vid, keep them coming, also i have been on a roll with lobster videos on youtube, hmm i wonder why =P
God damn bro. I’ve been there!! Beautiful place
Excellent video! Thank you! Ernest Hemingway or "The Fisherman" by Harry Haerendel?
JQ, I've watched your channel(s) for years now and they're great. Here comes the "but", the difference in the volume of speech and that of volume of music has me turning the control up and down like I was the mouse in hickory-dickory (but with seconds instead of hours), please will you moderate this? Thanks.
Hope all is well John
Funny because I was only watching the last one you did with him on Fish and Chips last night
Why does this only have 8k views?!?!
Miss you John, hope you are well 👋✌️
Is that jacket potato converted into wedge fries? I’m definitely going to try that out!
Hey Chef….. you looked a bit starstruck at times. 👍 🔥 great video.
How did he cook the chips did he bake them first or parboil them before frying?
Nathan is great. If you want to know about fish, he's the man.
I'm surprised he doesn't fry his chips on duck fat, though. Or does he?
Really enjoy your vids, but you need to sort your sound out. The backing track is often far too loud, I’m constantly juggling the volume controls, sometimes within the same vid!
Really miss the "Big Dog", keep well mate.
Hi. Are you alright? What's about your channel?
hi john i hope your keeping well.
I hope you're doing all right mate
I really appreciate the expertise, the technique, the knowledge but honestly I'd prefer a nice piece of haddock, some great chips and a few condiments.
I don't understand how the lobster isn't overcooked but that I guess is down to my ignorance.
Much rarther have that tail steamed on the side of a nice steak with some butter and sprinkle of paprika.
I would say that the lobster was "half-cooked" in water, and the batter create a protection around it, protecting it against the oil and sealing the moisture inside.
Steaming lobster is not the best, since it will evaporate part of it's juices, making it less juicy and more tough. Also, the water you boiled them in can be used as a base for crustacean broth, really fragrant.
@@silverchoweez think you're on to something there. Probably a few mins off cooked then fried, I'm sure they're nice, just not for me.
Sure you could do many things with it, a bisque is a great idea. I like the slight firmness you get from steaming but hey thats just me🤷♂️
Could you post the recipe please? It looks like there was paprika added to the lobster at the end, for example?
Those chips are gangsta
Please start posting again!!!!
I miss me old mate
Personally I think you’re recipe for fish and chips is pretty fucking delicious John.
chilli jam brings back memories, righ uncle roger ?
Where are you my friend? I am guilty not checking in to see if there are something new, only to see it has been a year. Hope you are ok, hope and pray for your return.
That fisherman has his priorities right
It's a shame you've given up on my favourite platform.
I know fb pays better but you had a heck of a lot of subs here.
John, where the hell are you man!!! Miss the content
John, why are you not uploading anymore !?
