I don't agree with almost anything with conservatives but this is just common sense. Its actually unfair. While I'm here might as well try: there are two sexs and sports should be separated by sex. However, the opinion most people have is that gender is separate, a social construct in which you can change, whereas sex you cannot. I'd like to here a response to this.
If you read about the science of transitioning, then this could be fair. But only if the trans person was taking the medication that people who are actually transitioning take. If and only if they’re are taking this medication for at least 2 years then and only then is it actual and scientifically fair. Trans athletes who don’t take the meds for the appropriate timeframe should not be allowed to compete. This only goes for trans women because nobody has anything to say about trans men competing.
@@patrickrobbins9858 I looked into the study you are referring to and even after the 2 year period the trans-woman still ran 12% faster then cis-woman. Other factors were more even.
@@patrickrobbins9858 The fact that a male needs to take drugs ( that manipulate their male testosterone levels) in the first place in order to compete with females already tells us that they have an unfair advantage. There's no pill a male can take that changes fast twitch fiber muscles, or changes pelvic bone or shortens longer legs, weakened bone density, shrinks lungs or causes the male heart to pump slower. this takes a lot of guts. she's putting herself out there. no one deserves to be treated like this. i genuinely do not mind whatsoever. it's honestly not that deep (from my perspective). everyone should be able to compete in whatever "gendered category" they identify with. i mean, cisgender females have different amount of testosterone too, and that's never bugged anyone, so idk why this should either. i've never seen an issue with transgender females competing in the same category. all women had to fight for rights to be in sports, so i see no issue in competing together.
Nah you need to open ur eyes and pull ur head out ur keyster, this is degrading women on so many levels. Imagine working hard ur entire life to compete in fair competitions and then you get beat by someone who shouldn’t be there and has advantages biologically. Come on…
@@CroutonMuncheronce again if you want to compete as a trans athlete you need to pass blood screenings to make sure your testosterone is within the women’s regulations. If no testosterone advantage, what biological advantage do they have
A lot of places are trying, but courts tend to side with letting people compete how they identify, not what their chromosomes say. Trans athletes can sue for discrimination and will often win these cases because it "looks good" to side with them. Then the schools, colleges, and other groups are forced to allow this to happen or they get in trouble. It's not as simple as saying "You can't compete" to someone because of their chromosomal makeup. But if many (dare I say, most) places had their way, this WOULD NOT be allowed.

Exactly why they all booed. Biology is biology.

Because they skipped biology and probably got dropped on their head as a baby

How is this allowed. Give them their own category. Men, Women, Trans.

I was there, it was bad. Everyone wore #save women’s sports shirts
Wow really. That's surprising. I didn't know that it looks like people are getting tired of the cheating
Give Trans their own category plesse, since they want to be recognized
Do they WANT anyone to be able to join? Do they NOT? They gotta make up their minds here
