I will finally have my 1998 TW200 in 3 days. Found a sweet deal on it with 1,400 original miles. So excited. I'll have all winter to get it ready for spring. Like the design of this mount. Keep us posted. It'll be a few months before I need one

for sure! cool, it's the one I have had on my helmet for a long time, just a lot of gopro arms put together, it's hard to get a good mount setup for these types of helmets
looks like a solid mount! I have been using OnX maps the last few years. Its kind of pricey but you can get discount codes, and knowing the land owners adjacent to public land is nice for hunting. I like how fluid it is when scouting trails out at home on PC and setting markers it auto updates the map on phone.
I just set up a Quad Lock mount so that I could run .gpx files though OsmAnd on my burner phone and it worked awesome. For some context my brand new license plate snapped in half from flexing fatigue with how violently my suspension was cycling on an aggressive all day dual sport ride. My phone never budged. I used one of their peel and stick mounting solutions on my OtterBox Defender. I just traced out the shape of it on the rubber outer half of the case and made a cutaway then stuck the 3M mount to the plastic part of the case. Quad Lock sells phone specific cases but I've heard mixed reviews. I'm in it for $50 😢 but am considering buying their waterproof wireless charging kit which is and additional $75 on black Friday sale for $52 right now. Love the content man. I went from a TW to an XT225 to a modded WR250R with YZ450F forks, Go Race rear shock, full Ti exhaust and piggyback fuel computer. Still have the TW and love it. Thank you for the awesome videos!

with all of the reports of people having their phone cameras ruined, by handle bar mounts, I made the decision to just get a Garmin Zumo and keep my phone in my pocket. I also try to keep my music going at all times. That's just my way to ensure that my phone doesn't work it's way out of a pocket or that I leave it somewhere when I am stopped. Great video as always.
yeah I guess something like that could happen. could get ruined in a pocket too though if you fall on a rock or somthing. I have accident coverage on my phone so not too worried about that that's a good idea would have saved me from loosing my phone thanks
Been using phone mounts with wireless charging on my bikes for years. Never had any major issues. After about a year its time to replace it cause the hardware starts getting worn.
Nice, I got a ram mount but the stretchy harness band thing kinda sucked, think I saw something about quad lock but haven’t tried it. Sometimes it takes some tries to find the perfect thing. So far I was pretty impressed by this mount
If you enable “find friends” on your phone and someone you don’t mind knowing where you are is allowed, you can find a lost phone Also a Good safety feature if you break down
yeah I had find my phone enabled, to this day the phone has never been pinged, might have got ran over by a side by side, or bounced somewhere where couldn't be found
If you want to get rid of almost all vibration on the phone mount, try connecting it to another piece of the handlebar or a windshield frame using zip ties or a custom length of metal. That piece should be kept under tension. You would then need something to dampen high-frequency vibrations on the mount itself.
Looks like a nice mount. It’s very hard to mount an iPhone to a bike due to vibration and frequency because it does a number on the optical image stabilizers. I hope long term this is a viable solution. Might be more of a problem on road bikes even, but I’m not completely sure.
for sure, yeah i'm not sure how much of an issue the high frequency vibration is on the optical IS, i'm sure the soft mount to absorb some of the vibration would help

I went from Ram Mount, to Rokform finally to QuadLock and havent looked back since. Best mount imo.
