They shouldn’t appoint any Nigerian coach, they end up messing everything up. They become compromised and get pressured by football agents to feature their players. Too much corruption in Nigeria and local coaches will not succeed now. Gone are the days of Shuaibu and Keshi

@@user-lr9ly3zt7q Yes I am for real. Let’s not forget that Siasia is suspended by FIFA for corrupt practices. Siasia maybe a good coach, but he is of questionable character and can easily be compromised. Like I said earlier, local coaches come with too much baggage, they are corruptible and always end up victimising certain players. Foreign coaches do not come with these baggage’s.

My opinion is based on historical evidence that local coaches become compromised. While I do agree that Siasia is a good coach he is of questionable character. He is still currently serving a FIFA ban for sharp practices. Anyway I rest my case, NFF will not see or consider what I am writing here, so I leave the matter

@user-lr9ly3zt7q Siasia is not in the mould of Keshi. N4 becoming Super Eagles coach Keshi was one of the most coveted coaches in Africa having managed Mali and Togo, qualifying them for AFCON and even the WC. It was this continuity argument that led to Finidi. The AFCON qualifiers are not as important as WC qualifiers, because the AFCON qualifier situation is not as acute as the WC qualifiers. This allows a foreign coach some time to embed his philosophy. You claim that local coaches know the team, this is a lie. The SE players do not play in Nigeria, they all play internationally. The only advantage of a local coach is familiarity with local players.

Do we want to wait until September qualifiers for AFCON to appoint a coach?
Why was siasia banned by FIFA ? Corruption! Will it do Nigeria's image good to appoint a coach who was banned?
What major competition did Siasia win as coach?
Salisu what has he achieved from his previous opportunities as coach?
Salisu has corruption hanging on him if I remember?
Please Ammunike is our best choice, he has won U-17 world cup, he brought Osimen, Awoniyi, Chukwueze to limelight, he even did trials for Terrem Moffi and all these players are world beaters!

Amuneke was in Egypt,Sudan and Zambian clubsides and yours sincerely was previlleged to monitor his performances on SuperSports stations which were not inspiring and in all he was fired.Lets not be decieved with his under I7 exploit.Siasia has been an achiever in world football and no one can dispute it unless an enemy of our football.

I like people who chat with wisdom and think out of the box. To me, you lack knowledge from what happened to sia. He is shining the star of Nigerian coach going place . His problem was planned by some set of unpatriotic Nigerian and those who don't want Africa to reach any where and again the issue of appointing a foreign coach for super eagles. Why did NFF never back him secret? Even the president, who is from warri with Sia, never shows concern....... please just forget, oooooo, God will show the bad people u go see. Just wait.

Recycling coaches is really sickening for the national team . Its sad rhat in a cointey rhat dont respsct previous coaches, youre suggestung hiring another. Siasia had a similar fate in which stephen keshi was appointed . The player who sabotaged in a qualifier was Osaze Oddmwingie. Due to the outcome , keshi ensured osaze never won rhe Afcon with his super eaglws twam .
Samson siasia though a coaxh whos achieved success was also known to have corruptiion charges pasted on him which led to Fifa banning him fpr certain years.
Salisu Yusuf would be a wrong puck for an assistant coach .

The former media officer doesn't know what's he's talking about no wonder they fired him......These are the same people that clamour for Finidi george. He doesn't have any point, because he is not talking from a place of patriotism but from a place of selfish interest....The only reason why they want an indigenous coach is bcos they want to be using our national team as a testing ground and trial place for the players they represented, for a European club to see and sign🤷Salisu's last coaching Job after his corruption case was taking Kano pillars to relagation he also failed to qualified the under23 Afcon. Now just imagine him as an assistant coach of the super eagles, what will he be telling Siasia in terms of idea?....I think they shouldn't let him anywhere near any stadium the super eagles are playing any match, talkless of employing him as an assistant coach...... However, for Siasia I think he should go back and revive his coaching career elsewhere, after the long banned, before even thinking about coaching the super eagles 🤷hiring those two, will be a massive setback to our world cup qualifiers, if the speculations are true, but I hope not🤷Meanwhile the person that came up with that suggestion should be arrested and investigated....Anyway, "That guy wearing the red arsenal Jersey sef dey reason am.......But what do u expect from an arsenal fan.....They represent the low bar we use to measure failure
Furthermore Super Eagles is not an age grade team that we should be bringing trail and error coaches to come try their luck.....Its high time we employed a qualified permanent coach who is tactically sound with an excellent player management skill, that can take these talented players to the next level........Not someone who would use them for experiment like Finidi George ..........The notion that we shouldn't appoint a coach now because the season is over,is nonsense talk.....Any correct coach can watch last Season video of the players if necessary.

Siasia is a youth coach,he’s yet to prove self both as a super eagles gaffer or a club gaffer respectively.
The times he was given opportunities he failed, apparently, super eagles is better with foreign managers who are very professional tactical and merit driven.
The local coaches are easily manipulated by the NFF you start hearing funny invitations from Tanzania from Rangers from Remo stars players who aren’t good enough to qualify for CHAN .Yusuf failed woefully to qualify the Olympic eagles please let’s leave sentiment and be real, our domestic coaches aren’t merit driven and lack the technical skills to coach a big team like the super eagles.
The only local coaches who were good enough have passed away Keshi and Amodu.
Today we have no local coaches in that regard.Sunday Oliseh failed and abandoned the super eagles with attitude problems which rub off the team negatively and retired Enyeama he fought with Mikel too,Oliseh is too toxic to do that job in short non of the local coaches we have today is good enough we are about missing out on back to back World Cup tournaments because of local coaches please they should stay far away from our football they’re that bad!!

Also those of you advocating for Oliseh's appointment should remember his behavior the last time he was in charge. Firstly he clashed with the best goalkeeper Nigeria ever had and made Ahmed Musa the captain of the Super Eagles -two of the worst decisions a good manager will make. Also, he was unable to beat Lesoto or swaziland if memory serves me correctly. He also rubbish his employers claiming some people are trying to kill him and he is heading back to Europe where he is loved and beloved and what happened? He was handed a job to coach some B Team and at the end he was kicked out with the help of law enforcement officers and told never to return to the facilities again. Now they are flocking to Nigeria again to coach the Super Eagles. Quite frankly you guys just lost the best man for the job-George Finidi

Cause this man was just appointed and still managed to draw against SA without a fully fit squad. Plus, he couldn't make the callups he wanted due to time. They should reinstate him, get him a competent assistant coach, and leave the rest to God.

@risong7117 No Sir...Siasia is a good coach no doubt but let him start from CHAN Eagles. The age grade competition is very different from the senior competition because a lot of Africans falsify their ages.
Messi,Mikel and Taiye Taiwo played the same age grade FIFA competition. While Messi is still playing where is Mikel and Taiye Taiwo today.
Age grade competition is not a good yardstick to judge. The best performances of Super Eagles came.when we were coached by foreign coaches. They just need to to get the best. Finidi was the architect of his own failure.
Rather than invite Ekong the MVP of last Afcon,he chose to invite an unknown player from Tanzania league. Jusst to market the player to Europe.
Sir,can you name any 3 teams from Tanzania? Yet Finidi went there. We won and lost our last 2 games from the defence.
By the way why was Siasia banned?

So after Finidi showing you people that Local coach don't work in Nigeria you are still clamouring for Local Coaches,,, This is ridiculous, My only advice to Nigerians is your coaches need to learn and get their License up in Europe. The game has changed and Local Coaches are far behind we cannot even win CAF Champions League or CHAN nawa ooo . Siasia has not been in the system for long his ban was years by his ban Osimhen was still under 17 so he does not know the players. We need a foreign coach LOCAL COACH DON"T WORK IN NIGERIA. YOU WANT TO BRING AMOKACHI A KNOWN BRIBE TAKER AND PALM GREASER CHAI!, OLISEH THE SAME OLISEH WHO DID EVEN WORST THAN FINIDI..OLISEH LEFT BECUASE HE ALIENATED THE BEST GOALKEEPER IN AFRICA BECAUSE OF JEALOUSY, LIKE FINIDI AND OSIMHEN OWN IS EVEN SOFT!. NIGERIA DON"T LET SENTIMENT DESTROY OUR BALL.. Class of 94 ex Internationals need to stay far away from Nigerian football for now. Until they make known their intentions for our game. Do they want to destroy it out of jealousy of our current stars or do they actually want to help the developement. Because the track record shows they always come in single out the most talented players and set out to bring them down. Siasia did it with Mikel, Oliseh with Enyeama and now Finidi with Osimhen.
