Think about it! if a guy decides that he should not stare at a couple kissing in public thinking that it is normal and happens everyday, he would surely not stare at a hot girl passing by. and there are 4 steps of rape-

2. harassing
3. sexual assault.

if the first step never takes place, the rape will not happen!
this movement is an attempt to change people's thinking that kissing is not a big deal and so is a hot girl passing by not a big deal as well :)

Present sexual conservatism in India is the hangover of the colonial Victorian puritanical values, we are believing that it has been our culture from ancient times, but it ain't true at all.
Some points to validate my point
1.kajhuraho sculptures
2.kamasutra book
3.anjantha ellora paintings-all women were topless,yes that was our culture being in a tropical country [now there are sensational news about cleavages ]
4.Once I was shocked to see a sculpture in a temple in tamilnadu where a dog was licking the vagina of a women.I am not saying whether it was good or bad, our ancestors were much more open in expressing the sexuality [even extreme ones] than we can possibly imagine.
After the golden age then came Islamic and Colonial moral values, Victorian moral code was deep ingrained into the psyche of Indians by our colonial masters to such an extent that even after 60 years of independence we are still in it's hangover
Sad fact is that Britain and other western countries left the Victorian morality and moved on.
In fact many western countries were sexually so conservative till early 1960's, then came the awesome sexual revolution in USA by the baby boomers, they were actually inspired by the sexual liberalism in ancient India,So what we now perceive as western sexual liberalism is actually the copied ancient Indian sexual liberalism by westerners.
Thanks to the internet,demographic dividend we are again moving back to our ancient culture, in fact it is just awesome...:)

These so called morals are what society made, our religious texts never spoke a bit about it, so society morals change, sati was abolished, child marriage illegal, dowry illegal, this is change. Because culture is not what society presumes it to be. So, you too just sit back wash you foul mouth, and stop trying dude, with that foul mouth who will ever kiss you. Kissing is just an expression of love, not an action done for showing it to the public. So, if you can clean that foul mouth of yours, try falling in love for once. It is a feeling worth experiencing.

If you are with your girlfriend in public, you can hold hands together, be close and affectionate. but smooching and intimate hugging in front of kids and families isn't the most appropriate thing to do in public. There is a thin line that separate love and sex, which should never be crossed especially while others are watching.
