Swervedriver got me through my teenage years. So did Ride.

The most underrated rock band in music history. They are prolific.

nice ride t-shirt... rave down was the only song from them I remember, but they had a lot of really good stuff, which I'm only just now discovering.. ace band

Saw them at The Troubadour in Hollywood circa 1994. They are my all time favorite band.

1:40 - thought he was going to say Nirvana! Probably just about to happen. Ironically - it was G'N'R that seemed forgotten subsequently...
I love this band - too smart to make it big on American radio

Had they signed to Geffen they would have been opening for Nirvana! Unfreakinbelieveable!

Funny thing is they ended up on Geffen after all, recorded their last album and subsequently got dropped...still my favorite band though...

@kingalow1 Shame he didn't say Sonic Youth (Goo came out the year before on Geffen). Especially since I always heard a distinct SY influence on the Swervies.

His sentence wasn‘t about who they were influenced by but who got all the attention from the label hence the reason they didn‘t wanna sign to Geffen.
